September hatten die Mitglieder der renommierten Goncourt-Akademie f\u00fcnfzehn Romane ausgew\u00e4hlt, die im Laufe des Jahres erschienen waren. Von diesen f\u00fcnfzehn wurden am 11. Oktober acht in die engere Wahl gezogen. Die dritte Auswahlrunde am 30. Oktober reduzierte die Zahl der Romane weiter und erst am 6. November wird der gro\u00dfe Gewinner verk\u00fcndet. Hier finden Sie Meinungen und Einblicke in f\u00fcnf Romane aus der ersten Auswahl, die alle so reichhaltig wie unterschiedlich sind.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more Lire l\u2019article (en libre acc\u00e8s)-->\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>Nos vies<\/em>, Marie-H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Lafon<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abCe livre ne raconte pas une histoire. Il noue, d\u00e9noue et tisse des histoires\u00bb, annonce l\u2019\u00e9crivain en pr\u00e9sentant son roman. Tout commence par le portrait de Gordana, une jeune femme de l\u2019Est qui travaille \u00aben caisse quatre, au Franprix du num\u00e9ro 93 de la rue du Rendez-Vous dans le douzi\u00e8me arrondissement de Paris.\u00bb La narratrice veut la conna\u00eetre. Pour ce faire, elle imagine sa vie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se joint \u00e0 cette qu\u00eate une autre vie, celle d\u2019un homme, Horacio, qui se rend chaque vendredi matin au Franprix. Apparemment s\u00e9duit par la caissi\u00e8re, il d\u00e9sire la rencontrer. Par l\u2019usage du conditionnel, la narratrice elle-m\u00eame se m\u00eale au r\u00e9cit de <em>Nos vies<\/em>: \u00abJe pourrais \u00eatre la m\u00e8re d\u2019Horacio Fortunato. De Gordana plus encore, mais je ne me vois pas en m\u00e8re de Gordana dans les faubourgs de Cracovie, Sofia, Bratislava ou Brno; je ne me vois pas embarrass\u00e9e de cette enfant emp\u00each\u00e9e, tr\u00e8s t\u00f4t barricad\u00e9e, n\u00e9anmoins rose et blonde, qu\u2019a d\u00fb \u00eatre Gordana.\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Racontant les regrets, les \u00e9checs et les solitudes communs \u00e0 tous les protagonistes, <em>Nos vies<\/em> dit surtout les vies qui passent. \u00abElles avaient souvent quitt\u00e9 la r\u00e9gion, avaient des m\u00e9tiers, des maris, des enfants; ici un divorce, l\u00e0 une maladie, rien de rare. Nos vies ont coul\u00e9, les leurs et la mienne.\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le vocabulaire utilis\u00e9 par Marie-H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Lafon est assur\u00e9ment riche, sa langue sensuelle et incarn\u00e9e. Malgr\u00e9 tout, un sentiment de vacuit\u00e9 s\u2019installe \u00e0 la lecture, \u00e0 cause du versant autobiographique qui prend le dessus sur l\u2019histoire fantasm\u00e9e de Gordana, dont la passionnante banalit\u00e9 aurait m\u00e9rit\u00e9 davantage de place. Le roman promet beaucoup dans ses premi\u00e8res pages. Malheureusement, l\u2019avancement coule peu \u00e0 peu dans la d\u00e9ception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>Sommer<\/em>, Monica Sabolo<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Summer est une fille sublime de dix-neuf ans. Alors que l\u2019heure est \u00e0 un joyeux pique-nique avec ses copines au bord du lac L\u00e9man, elle\u00a0dispara\u00eet brutalement. Benjamin, son fr\u00e8re de quinze ans, \u00e9tait aussi pr\u00e9sent ce jour-l\u00e0. Plus de vingt-quatre ans apr\u00e8s, il ne s\u2019est toujours pas remis de cette absence sans traces ni r\u00e9ponses. La psychanalyse et les femmes ne paraissent qu\u2019un vain rem\u00e8de au drame. Benjamin doit n\u00e9anmoins se lib\u00e9rer du souvenir obsessionnel de sa s\u0153ur. Penser \u00e0 elle, sans savoir si elle morte ou vivante, finit m\u00eame par l\u2019emp\u00eacher de se rendre au travail. Il reprend alors l\u2019enqu\u00eate, au plus profond de son histoire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Lesen Sie auch | <em>Sommer<\/em>, In der Vorh\u00f6lle des Sees und der Erinnerungen<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019intrigue de Monica Sabolo est simple, et ce n\u2019est pas un d\u00e9faut. Elle ne d\u00e9\u00e7oit pas son lecteur. L\u2019\u00e9criture, que beaucoup jugent po\u00e9tique, tend par moments \u00e0 la lourdeur. Si les phrases aux allures philosophiques et na\u00efves engendrent lassitude plut\u00f4t qu\u2019envo\u00fbtement, les descriptions fra\u00eeches et color\u00e9es de Summer et ses amies explosent des caract\u00e8res imprim\u00e9s pour susciter le d\u00e9sir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>La Disparition de Joseph Mengele<\/em>, Olivier Guez<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Le docteur Joseph Mengele fut \u00e0 l\u2019apog\u00e9e de sa carri\u00e8re en plein Holocauste. Grand m\u00e9decin des chambres \u00e0 gaz d\u2019Auschwitz, il envoya \u00e0 la mort sans compter et exp\u00e9rimenta autant d\u2019absurdit\u00e9s que de cruaut\u00e9s sur des innocents. Le Reich est tomb\u00e9, et d\u00e8s lors, Joseph Mengele dut fuir. 1949, arriv\u00e9e en Argentine \u2013 qui fut d\u2019ailleurs le refuge de nombreux nazis. Vie instable; incessante errance jusqu\u2019\u00e0 sa mort en 1979. Tant\u00f4t s\u2019inspirant de faits r\u00e9els, tant\u00f4t imaginant, Olivier Guez plonge le lecteur dans l\u2019histoire repoussante et piteuse du tortionnaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Int\u00e9ressante, l\u2019approche de Joseph Mengele sous l\u2019angle du roman l\u2019est certainement. Le style limite cependant l\u2019ouvrage presque \u00e0 une consultation encyclop\u00e9dique. Pourtant, l\u2019ouvrage avance le pr\u00e9texte de se plonger dans l\u2019histoire; celle du monde apr\u00e8s la guerre, de l\u2019Allemagne, de l\u2019Argentine, d\u2019Isra\u00ebl, des services secrets et j\u2019en passe. <em>La Disparition de Joseph Mengele<\/em> gagnerait le prix de l\u2019instruction au Goncourt, s\u2019il en existait un. En outre, le rapport entre le lecteur et Joseph Mengele est pr\u00eat \u00e0 r\u00e9server des surprises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>Nos richesses<\/em>, Kaouther Adimi<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Le roman est d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00abA ceux de la rue Hamani\u00bb. Cette rue d\u2019Alger conna\u00eet deux histoires: celle d\u2019Edmond Charlot et celle de Ryad. Deux hommes reli\u00e9s par une librairie, qui a r\u00e9ellement exist\u00e9 et qui existe toujours: \u00abLes Vraies Richesses\u00bb, au 2 bis de la rue Hamani. Edmond, jeune amoureux de la litt\u00e9rature, fonde ce lieu en 1935, \u00abune librairie qui vendrait du neuf et de l\u2019ancien, ferait du pr\u00eat d\u2019ouvrages et qui ne serait pas juste un commerce mais un lieu de rencontres et de lecture. Un lieu d\u2019amiti\u00e9 en quelque sorte avec, en plus, une notion m\u00e9diterran\u00e9enne: faire venir des \u00e9crivains et des lecteurs de tous les pays de la M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e sans distinction de langue ou de religion, des gens d\u2019ici, de cette terre, de cette mer, s\u2019opposer surtout aux alg\u00e9rianistes. Aller au-del\u00e0!\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le second re\u00e7oit la mission, en guise de stage, de vider le local en 2017 pour en faire magasin de beignets. Sous forme de journal, entrecoup\u00e9 d\u2019un r\u00e9cit actuel, <em>Nos richesses<\/em> raconte le d\u00e9vouement d\u2019Edmond Charlot \u2013 premier \u00e9diteur de Camus \u2013 \u00e9ditant la grande litt\u00e9rature de son temps. Epoque oblige, l\u2019attention se tourne aussi vers la guerre et la r\u00e9volte ind\u00e9pendantiste alg\u00e9rienne d\u2019apr\u00e8s-guerre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sans concessions id\u00e9ologiques, Kaouther Adimi pose un vrai regard sur la politique et son lien \u00e0 la culture, sur les passions et ambitions des hommes. Le style est \u00e0 la hauteur de l\u2019hommage: f\u00e9cond en images, en parfums et en ambiances d\u2019Alg\u00e9rie. Quant au message, il coule comme une huile onctueuse: livres et lieux d\u2019amiti\u00e9 sont \u00abnos richesses\u00bb. La jeune \u00e9crivain y participe sans aucun doute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>Halte deine Krone fest<\/em>, Yannick Haenel<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abA cette \u00e9poque, j\u2019\u00e9tais fou.\u00bb Le narrateur est bel et bien fou, mais d\u2019une folie innocente en recherche d\u2019absolu. Il r\u00e9dige un volumineux sc\u00e9nario sur l\u2019\u00e9crivain am\u00e9ricain Herman Melville. <em>The Great Melville<\/em>. D\u00e9clinant son amour pour le romancier au cin\u00e9ma, il r\u00eave que le r\u00e9alisateur du film soit le d\u00e9chu et pourtant mythique Michael Cimino. Un producteur, Pointel, obtient son num\u00e9ro de t\u00e9l\u00e9phone. Inesp\u00e9r\u00e9. Alors que le projet semble pouvoir se concr\u00e9tiser, une rafale de m\u00e9saventures aussi dr\u00f4les que burlesques lui tombent dessus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Halte deine Krone fest<\/em> est le roman le plus abouti des cinq. L\u2019ouvrage se r\u00e9v\u00e8le complet au fil de la lecture car aucun \u00e9l\u00e9ment n\u2019est laiss\u00e9 au hasard. Le rire tient \u00e9galement sa place. L\u2019absurdit\u00e9 de l\u2019existence volante et enivr\u00e9e du narrateur en est la cause. Toutefois, le tragique n\u2019est pas esquiv\u00e9, gr\u00e2ce aux questions profondes qui sont pos\u00e9es sur le sens d\u2019une vie. Et aux allusions spirituelles. Bien que tir\u00e9es d\u2019<em>Apocalypse Now<\/em> \u2013 visionn\u00e9 en boucle par le anti-h\u00e9ros \u2013 ou d\u2019autres films, \u0153uvres d\u2019art, voire biographies d\u2019auteurs, elles puisent leur source dans le texte sacr\u00e9 le plus mystique: l\u2019Apocalypse.
