Ein Thriller, inspiriert von <em>Rear Window <\/em>der seinem Regisseur Alfred Hitchcock vier Oscarnominierungen einbrachte. In der von Benjamin Overmeyer und Bradley Joshua produzierten Version wandert der Schauplatz nach S\u00fcdafrika in ein Armenviertel, in dem das einzig g\u00fcltige Gesetz das des Gewaltt\u00e4tigsten oder des Gl\u00fccklichsten ist.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Endett\u00e9 \u00e0 hauteur de vingt-cinq mille rand apr\u00e8s un <em>deal<\/em> qui lui a cout\u00e9 l\u2019usage de ses jambes, Randal (Irshaad Ally) reste enferm\u00e9 chez lui \u00e0 longueur de journ\u00e9e pour observer depuis sa fen\u00eatre la vie qui continue dans la rue. Un jour, son cr\u00e9ancier vient lui rendre visite. Randal sait bien que s\u2019il n\u2019a pas r\u00e9unit l\u2019argent d\u2019ici \u00e0 la date limite, sa conjointe Pam (Monique Rockman) et lui mourront.<\/p>\n<p>C\u2019est alors qu\u2019en \u00e9piant l\u2019appartement d\u2019un groupe de criminels, il est t\u00e9moin du meurtre d\u2019un policier v\u00e9reux et d\u00e9couvre qu\u2019environ cent mille rand sont \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent cach\u00e9s dans l\u2019appartement de Lawyer et de ses complices. Il d\u00e9cide donc de menacer ce dernier de le d\u00e9noncer \u00e0 la police s\u2019il refuse de lui c\u00e9der le sac. Un nouveau plan qui les plongera, Pam et lui, dans de sombres moments.<\/p>\n<h2>Lenteur sans profondeur<\/h2>\n<p>Plusieurs \u00e9l\u00e9ments rendent ce thriller peu int\u00e9ressant. Le premier est la lenteur \u00e0 laquelle s\u2019installent les \u00e9v\u00e9nements qui en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 ne s\u2019installent pas mais surviennent apr\u00e8s des sc\u00e8nes plut\u00f4t futiles, n\u2019amenant pas la suite mais <em>maintenant<\/em> plut\u00f4t une image \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cran, sans vraiment apporter de profondeur \u00e0 l\u2019histoire.<\/p>\n<p>En pr\u00e8s de deux heures de film, une certaine mati\u00e8re se doit d\u2019\u00eatre apport\u00e9e aux personnages, \u00e0 l\u2019environnement \u00e9galement. Dans <em>Number 37,<\/em> ce qui emp\u00eache d\u2019entrer dans l\u2019histoire est cette pr\u00e9sentation de faits qui dit : \u00ab cette histoire s\u2019est d\u00e9roul\u00e9e ainsi \u00bb, sans que quelque chose de plus soit dit sur la vie des personnages, leurs histoires, leurs liens.<\/p>\n<p>Finalement, c\u2019est ponctuellement que se montre l\u2019attente et l\u2019inqui\u00e9tude li\u00e9es aux thrillers. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la bande sonore typique des films de genre, la tension monte lors de moments d\u00e9cisifs pour la r\u00e9ussite des plans imagin\u00e9s par Randal. Elle dispara\u00eet cependant de fa\u00e7on soudaine, coup\u00e9e par une nouvelle sc\u00e8ne montrant d\u2019autres personnages.<\/p>\n<p>Bien s\u00fbr, cela pourrait tenir facilement la route et m\u00eame amplifier encore l\u2019angoisse, mais l\u2019histoire est si morcel\u00e9e que l\u2019on n\u2019a pas le temps de se prendre \u00e0 ces sc\u00e8nes gores et inqui\u00e9tantes, car elles sont rares et courtes. <em>Nummer 37<\/em> ne parvient somme toute pas \u00e0 se d\u00e9marquer d\u2019un autre thriller et ne marque pas durablement. A moins que vous y voyiez des \u00e9l\u00e9ments non recens\u00e9s ici, en vous rendant \u00e0 la s\u00e9ance de ce samedi 14 juillet.<\/p>\n<p>[table id=6 \/]<\/p>\n<p><em>Schreiben Sie dem Autor
