Vorgef\u00fchrt im internationalen Wettbewerb bei dieser achtzehnten Ausgabe des NIFFF, <em>Piercing<\/em> ist ein filmisches Juwel, ein Psychothriller mit kom\u00f6diantischen Z\u00fcgen.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Un jeune p\u00e8re fait croire \u00e0 sa femme qu\u2019il part en voyage d\u2019affaires. En r\u00e9alit\u00e9, il orchestre minutieusement, depuis longtemps, le meurtre truculent d\u2019une prostitu\u00e9e. L\u2019homme note m\u00e9ticuleusement dans un carnet rouge la marche qu\u2019il devra suivre pour commettre le crime parfait, de l\u2019entr\u00e9e de la femme dans la pi\u00e8ce au nettoyage des traces de sang. Il \u00e9crit \u00e9galement quelques r\u00e9flexions personnelles\u00a0: par exemple, la jeune femme doit \u00eatre imp\u00e9rativement de langue maternelle anglaise, car \u00ab\u00a0la terreur doit s\u2019exprimer en anglais\u00a0\u00bb. Ou encore, elle doit pratiquer du sado-masochisme, car son plan d\u00e9bute avec du <em>bondage<\/em>. Une fois dans une chambre d\u2019h\u00f4tel qu\u2019il a r\u00e9serv\u00e9e pour l\u2019occasion, il chronom\u00e8tre \u00e0 plusieurs reprises chaque action en la mimant, avant l\u2019arriv\u00e9e de la bienheureuse. Nicolas Pesce nous livre ici une sc\u00e8ne magistrale, port\u00e9e par le talentueux Christopher Abbott, du meurtre invisible le plus violent (et organis\u00e9) de l\u2019histoire. Mais si seulement les choses allaient comme on le souhaitait\u00a0: \u00e0 l\u2019arriv\u00e9e de la prostitu\u00e9e (Mia Wasikowska), les plans de notre homme se verront brusquement boulevers\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Le lieu, le temps sont suspendus\u00a0: la ville, faite de gratte-ciels en carton, est une grande maquette qui vient presque redimensionner les actions qui s\u2019y d\u00e9roulent. L\u2019ambiance ann\u00e9es septante est dans les int\u00e9rieurs, les v\u00eatements et la musique, qui accompagne, avec un d\u00e9calage sublime, la tension des sc\u00e8nes. Elle est aussi dans l\u2019utilisation du <em>split-screen<\/em>, employ\u00e9 notamment pour les sc\u00e8nes au t\u00e9l\u00e9phone, ce qui nous rappelle vaguement les appels de l\u2019agent OSS 117 \u00e0 Rio (avec Jean Dujardin). En somme, dans <em>Piercing<\/em>, point d\u2019ambiance froide, macabre, angoissante, comme on pourrait s\u2019y attendre. Les personnages deviennent presque sympathiques dans cette ambiance qui est celle d\u2019un jeu d\u2019enfants.<\/p>\n<p>En effet, le point fort de ce long-m\u00e9trage remarquable est la ma\u00eetrise par Nicolas Pesce du jeu du SM. N\u2019est-ce pas toujours celui qui se croit dominant qui est le v\u00e9ritable domin\u00e9\u00a0? Tout le film n\u2019est en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 qu\u2019un long rapport sado-masochiste, qui souligne la v\u00e9ritable port\u00e9e psychologique, plut\u00f4t que sexuelle, de cette pratique. Mais surtout, le meurtre \u2013 qui est vite amen\u00e9 dans l\u2019histoire et prend des dimensions inattendues \u2013 devient le centre n\u00e9vralgique du r\u00e9cit. On l\u2019attend, on le voit venir, on voudrait presque qu\u2019il survienne vite pour qu\u2019on s\u2019enl\u00e8ve cette dent. Mais c\u2019est sans compter sur le talent du jeune r\u00e9alisateur am\u00e9ricain, qui joue avec nous et domine, c\u2019est le cas de le dire, le cours des \u00e9v\u00e9nements.<\/p>\n<p>[table
