{"id":16398,"date":"2018-07-16T09:00:25","date_gmt":"2018-07-16T08:00:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leregardlibre.com\/?p=16398"},"modified":"2025-12-04T22:40:24","modified_gmt":"2025-12-04T21:40:24","slug":"incomprehensions-et-superficialite-dans-the-man-with-the-magic-box","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leregardlibre.com\/de\/kino\/filme\/incomprehensions-et-superficialite-dans-the-man-with-the-magic-box\/","title":{"rendered":"Missverst\u00e4ndnisse und Oberfl\u00e4chlichkeit in \u00abThe man with the magic box\u00bb (Der Mann mit der Wunderkiste)\u00bb"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Neuch\u00e2tel International Fantastic Film Festival (NIFFF) - Virginia Eufemi<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Als Schweizer Premiere am NIFFF gezeigt, <em>The man with the magic box<\/em> ist eine italienisch-polnische Produktion, die einen Beigeschmack von Unvollst\u00e4ndigkeit hinterl\u00e4sst.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Un jeune ing\u00e9nieur varsovien des ann\u00e9es 1950 (Piotr Polak) arrive \u00e0 voyager dans le temps gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une technique de m\u00e9ditation qu\u2019il a mise au point avec des coll\u00e8gues scientifiques. Pendant quelques minutes, il l\u00e9vite dans l\u2019air, le temps de se trouver une petite copine dans le futur, car la temporalit\u00e9 d\u2019avenir est dilat\u00e9e \u2013 on ne comprend pas pourquoi. Il a donc le temps de d\u00e9barquer par bateau dans la Varsovie de 2030 et de trouver un appartement et un travail comme concierge dans une grande entreprise.\u00a0L\u00e0, il fait la connaissance de la belle et arrogante Gloria (Olga Boladz). On ne comprend pas non plus ce qui lie les deux personnages \u00e0 part le sexe, mais apparemment, c\u2019est un grand amour qui m\u00e8nera la jeune femme \u2013 qui a toujours tr\u00e8s mal trait\u00e9 le jeune homme \u2013 \u00e0 aller le chercher dans le pass\u00e9, une fois la s\u00e9ance de l\u00e9vitation termin\u00e9e, pour qu\u2019ils puissent vivre ensemble dans le futur.<\/p>\n<p>Il faut toutefois reconna\u00eetre une chose \u00e0 ce film\u00a0: il est parsem\u00e9 de citations au cin\u00e9ma de science-fiction. L\u2019imperm\u00e9able transparent de <em>Blade Runner <\/em>(1982), les d\u00e9cors \u00ab\u00a0futur r\u00e9tro\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 la Terry Gilliam, o\u00f9 les nouvelles technologies c\u00f4toient des objets de la fin du XX<sup>.<\/sup> si\u00e8cle, l\u2019ambiance mouill\u00e9e et au papier-peint d\u00e9coll\u00e9 \u00e0 la Jean-Pierre Jeunet et le romantisme des gratte-ciels qui explosent devant une grande vitr\u00e9e \u00e0 la <em>Fight Club.<\/em> Pour ne pas citer les andro\u00efdes, les villes post-apocalyptiques ou encore la publicit\u00e9 personnalis\u00e9e. Mais surtout, le d\u00e9but du film\u00a0\u2013 qui cite ouvertement le \u00ab\u00a0<em>neuralyzer<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb de <em>Men in black\u00a0\u2013\u00a0<\/em>nous fait penser \u00e0 <em>L\u2019arm\u00e9e des douze singes<\/em> (1995), film tir\u00e9 du sublime court-m\u00e9trage de 1962,\u00a0<em>La Jet\u00e9e. <\/em>A\u00a0voir absolument pour ceux qui l\u2019auraient rat\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Quand il est affaire de voyages temporels, les spectateurs semblent devoir signer un contrat de fiction qui stipule qu\u2019ils doivent accepter sans r\u00e9serve tout illogisme temporel. Dans <em>The man with the magic box<\/em> le pass\u00e9 est contemporain au futur et ne semble pas l\u2019influencer. C\u2019est plut\u00f4t une sorte de monde parall\u00e8le avec des temporalit\u00e9s diff\u00e9rentes. Tr\u00e8s peu nous est dit sur le contexte de la Varsovie de 2030 : pourquoi les b\u00e2timents continuent d\u2019exploser\u00a0? Qui pose les bombes\u00a0?<\/p>\n<p>Au niveau de l\u2019image, les tons sont froids, illumin\u00e9s au n\u00e9on, ce qui leur conf\u00e8re une allure verd\u00e2tre ou blanch\u00e2tre. Les costumes sont tr\u00e8s int\u00e9ressants, surtout les robes de Gloria qui s\u2019illuminent et pr\u00e9sentent un style futuriste inspir\u00e9 de l\u2019iconographie manga japonaise.<em> The man with the magic box,\u00a0<\/em>r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par Bodo Kox, est sans doute un hommage au cin\u00e9ma de science-fiction, mais n\u2019arrive pas \u00e0 se distinguer lui-m\u00eame dans le genre. Les acteurs sont mauvais et sans personnalit\u00e9, les personnages sont aga\u00e7ants par leur inutilit\u00e9, l\u2019histoire \u00ab\u00a0d\u2019amour\u00a0\u00bb est pitoyable et n\u2019est pas cr\u00e9dible, le contexte trop flou pour \u00eatre int\u00e9ressant, ce qui entra\u00eene une s\u00e9rie d\u2019incompr\u00e9hensions que le spectateur est trop fatigu\u00e9 pour tenter d\u2019approfondir. La crainte qu\u2019en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 il n\u2019y ait pas d\u2019explications nous accompagne \u00e0 la sortie de la salle, dans laquelle, peut-\u00eatre, si nous pouvions remonter dans le temps,
