Das Hin und Her zwischen der musikalischen Vergangenheit und der Gegenwart ist unendlich. Jordi Savall ging noch einen Schritt weiter und griff die schmerzhafte Geschichte der Sklaverei auf, um das Projekt <em>The Routes Of Slavery<\/em>. Eine Begegnung zwischen afrikanischen Instrumenten, spanischen oder portugiesischen Kirchen- und Volksliedern und Ausz\u00fcgen aus historischen Texten.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Der spanische Dirigent leitete lange Zeit Ch\u00f6re und teilte das Leben mit der Operns\u00e4ngerin Montserrat Figueras bis zu deren Tod. Sein Interesse an der Kunst des Gesangs ist daher offensichtlich. Bereits in der Vergangenheit hat er die Stimmen in den Mittelpunkt seiner Kompositionen gestellt, wie etwa in dem hervorragenden <em><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/R3tXG8v5lLw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Granada Eterna<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In diesem fr\u00fcheren Projekt ehrte er arabische Lieder und Musik anl\u00e4sslich der 1000-Jahr-Feier von Granada in Andalusien. Er lud den Zuh\u00f6rer zu einer musikalischen Zeitreise von der Gr\u00fcndung des K\u00f6nigreichs Granada (1013) bis zu seiner Eingliederung in das K\u00f6nigreich Castilla y Le\u00f3n (1526) ein.<\/p>\n<p>Der Komponist geht eine \u00e4hnliche Wette ein mit <em>The Routes Of Slavery <\/em>au\u00dfer, dass er einen Zeitraum zwischen 1444 und 1888 nachzeichnet, von den Anf\u00e4ngen der Sklaverei bis zum Jahr des brasilianischen Goldenen Gesetzes - Brasilien war das letzte Land, das die Sklaverei mit der Unterschrift von Kaiserin Isabella abschaffte.<\/p>\n<p>So trifft die Kora des Maliers Ballak\u00e9 Sissoko auf die Perkussion des Brasilianers Luis Nascimento. Die Stimme von Mohammed Diaby vermischt sich mit der des Kolumbianers Leopoldo Novoa und den Instrumenten des mexikanischen Kammerorchesters Tembembe Ensamble Continuo.<\/p>\n<p>Sie werden es verstanden haben: Hier liegt ein enormer musikalischer Reichtum im Dienste der Erinnerungspflicht.
