Ihre engagierte Fotografin machte sich auf den Weg, um die Arbeiten der elf Aussteller dieser zweiten Ausgabe zu entdecken. Ein R\u00fcckblick auf den Er\u00f6ffnungstag am 13. Juni.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more Acc\u00e9der au reportage-->\n\n\n\n<p>Si l\u2019acc\u00e8s au site de Mont-Soleil se fait en quelques minutes par le funiculaire, c\u2019est \u00e9galement sur l\u2019id\u00e9e du directeur de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 du funiculaire que Swann Thommen, artiste pluridisciplinaire Im\u00e9rien, cr\u00e9e l\u2019association Impulsion en 2017 pour donner de la visibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 la r\u00e9gion et en assure la direction artistique. Plus concr\u00e8tement, les premiers contacts ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pris en septembre 2019 avec les photographes, qui ont pu visiter les lieux en janvier, et s\u2019adapter en fonction de ces derniers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aucun th\u00e8me ne leur est impos\u00e9; le travail r\u00e9side pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment dans l\u2019implantation de leurs \u0153uvres dans le contexte. Il est rare que des b\u00e2ches soient utilis\u00e9es comme type de support pour les photographies, d\u2019autant plus des b\u00e2ches perfor\u00e9es \u2014 vent oblige! \u2014 de vingt m\u00e8tres carr\u00e9s mont\u00e9es sur des \u00e9chafaudages. Habituellement, les impressions se font sur papier <em>fine art<\/em>. Chaque exposant doit ainsi s\u00e9lectionner de pr\u00e9f\u00e9rence des images contrast\u00e9es, puisque certaines couleurs sont par exemple trop fades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Un, deux, trois\u2026 soleil<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Le dispositif installatif, inspir\u00e9 des publicit\u00e9s asiatiques, permet non seulement de poser l\u2019attention sur le r\u00f4le du public, mais aussi de jouer avec la perspective et la lumi\u00e8re naturelle. Ainsi, le <em>verso<\/em> du portrait en noir et blanc propos\u00e9 par Prune Simon-Vermot (<em>Les limites du syst\u00e8me<\/em>)\u00a0 \u00a0 donne une autre lecture, \u00e0 cause de la transparence de la toile. Son sujet est un jeune homme de dix-sept ans qu\u2019elle suit depuis six mois, qui est touch\u00e9 par le syndrome d\u2019Asperger. Sophie Brasey (<em>Social Distancing<\/em>) a par exemple produit des images en Suisse pendant le confinement, afin de questionner la distance sociale ainsi que notre rapport \u00e0 la solitude. La seule image du Photographe suisse de l\u2019ann\u00e9e Christian Lutz, intitul\u00e9e <em>Col de Lukmanier<\/em>, a \u00e9t\u00e9 prise en 2015 sur le col reliant le Tessin et les Grisons pour un mandat durant la crise migratoire. La pente du terrain se prolonge, une continuit\u00e9 de l\u2019image se forme. Et son auteur veveysan, Yann Laubscher, de lancer: \u00abJe suis ravi qu\u2019il fasse ce temps, parce que c\u2019est dans ces conditions que je prends mes images.\u00bb Nous voil\u00e0 pr\u00e9venus! Ces clich\u00e9s, pris \u00e0 l\u2019aide d\u2019une chambre photographique, ont n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 quelques minutes de pose \u2014 d\u2019o\u00f9 la pr\u00e9sence de moustiques sur le visage d\u2019un des deux hommes (un Russe et, contre toute attente, un Lausannois), centr\u00e9s et regardant le spectateur fixement, droit dans les yeux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La confrontation pose une question: qu\u2019est-ce que cela veut dire de vivre dans un milieu sauvage? L\u2019artiste italo-suisse Graziella Antonini s\u2019int\u00e9resse elle aussi \u00e0 la complexit\u00e9 des rapports entre l\u2019humain et la nature. En collectionnant pierres, graines et autres petites plantes, puis en les repr\u00e9sentant dans un d\u00e9cor artificiel \u2013 un fond bleu ciel pour <em>Sapin blanc<\/em> und <em>Tulipier<\/em> \u2013, cela cr\u00e9e l\u2019illusion de croire que la nature, aussi fragile qu\u2019elle nous appara\u00eet, pourrait \u00eatre litt\u00e9ralement entre nos mains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On retrouve cette id\u00e9e de fragilit\u00e9 et m\u00eame de pr\u00e9ciosit\u00e9 \u00e0 plus petite \u00e9chelle encore avec le projet de Catherine Leutenegger, qui pr\u00e9sente un fragment de plume d\u2019oiseau, <em>Feather<\/em>, pour lequel elle a symboliquement choisi la couleur or. Invit\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019EPFL Lab, elle a eu recours \u00e0 la technique de microtomographie aux rayons X, qui permet de reconstruire l\u2019objet en trois dimensions de mani\u00e8re pr\u00e9cise, sans l\u2019alt\u00e9rer. Une mani\u00e8re de d\u00e9fier la pratique traditionnelle de la photographie en soulevant de nouvelles r\u00e9flexions sur la mat\u00e9rialisation du virtuel ainsi que l\u2019omnipr\u00e9sence num\u00e9rique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u00abLe travail r\u00e9side pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment dans l\u2019implantation de leurs \u0153uvres dans le contexte.\u00bb<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Quelques pas plus loin, nous voil\u00e0 face \u00e0 deux photographies prises cette-fois au <em>Smartphone<\/em> par Guadalupe Ruiz. Une solution peu encombrante pour se rendre dans son pays d\u2019origine, la Colombie, pour visiter sa famille, et immortaliser ce qui l\u2019entoure, comme des fleurs (<em>Anturios<\/em>). Il en est une cependant \u00e0 qui l\u2019on n\u2019a pas fait une fleur, au XVII<sup>. <\/sup>si\u00e8cle: <em>La Femme au nom effac\u00e9<\/em>. Condamn\u00e9e pour faits de sorcellerie, cette femme mentionn\u00e9e dans un recueil de proc\u00e8s doit en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 son anonymat \u00e0 la d\u00e9chirure survenue dans le bord de la page; feuillet que le <em>flash<\/em> de Virginie Rebetez a rendu visible sur un fond noir.
