Sie waren extrem fortschrittlich und innovativ und entsprachen kaum der Vorstellung vom romantischen K\u00fcnstler, der meditativ und zerbrechlich war. Es ist an der Zeit, Platz f\u00fcr die \u00abIntrovertierten\u00bb der Epoche zu machen, die auf andere Weise Giganten waren. Von Schubert war bereits die Rede, es bleiben Chopin, Brahms und vor allem Schumann. Noch heute ist es schwer zu sagen, wie es um Schumanns Wahnsinn und seine Liebe zu Clara bestellt war.
