Doch der zweite Spielfilm dieses iranischen Regisseurs k\u00f6nnte ihn in der weltweiten Filmszene etablieren. Nachdem er sich der kulturellen Kluft zwischen Europa und dem Iran anhand des Werdegangs eines Akademikers in <em>Eine angesehene Familie<\/em> (2012) wurde Bakhshi von einer iranischen Fernsehsendung namens \u00abHoneymoon\u00bb inspiriert. In diesem Programm wurden zum Tode verurteilte Personen von der Familie des Opfers live begnadigt. Nach dem Vorbild von <em>The Voice<\/em>, Die Zuschauer konnten ihr Handy in die Hand nehmen und beurteilen, wie aufrichtig der Verbrecher seine Reue zeigte. Auch wenn der Filmemacher uns ein Universum pr\u00e4sentiert, dessen Lesart zwangsl\u00e4ufig dystopisch sein wird, werden die iranischen Codes und Praktiken durch das Prisma des Reality-TVs entdeckt und erm\u00f6glichen den Zugang zu einer kulturellen Realit\u00e4t, die im Kino unsichtbar ist.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Des vues nocturnes sur le p\u00e9riph\u00e9rique de T\u00e9h\u00e9ran. Le trafic y est dense. Les axes routiers se superposent sur diff\u00e9rents niveaux. Eloign\u00e9 de l\u2019agitation urbaine, un studio de t\u00e9l\u00e9vision. A l\u2019entr\u00e9e, des femmes s\u2019affairent. L\u2019excitation monte: l\u2019arriv\u00e9e de la star-coupable est imminente. Maryam (Sadaf Asgari) est menott\u00e9e, elle est accompagn\u00e9e de sa m\u00e8re (Fereshteh Sadre Orafaee) et d\u2019une repr\u00e9sentante de l\u2019ordre. Apr\u00e8s avoir pass\u00e9 le portique de s\u00e9curit\u00e9, la voil\u00e0 aspir\u00e9e dans un r\u00f4le qu\u2019elle devra tenir afin de co\u00efncider avec les attentes d\u2019un audimat inquisiteur. Maryam a \u00e9t\u00e9 condamn\u00e9e \u00e0 la pendaison pour le meurtre de son mari \u2013 son ancien employeur \u00e2g\u00e9 de soixante-cinq ans \u2013 suite \u00e0 une dispute de couple qui a mal tourn\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans son malheur, la jeune femme a de la chance, puisque la diffusion de l\u2019\u00e9mission co\u00efncide avec <em>Yalda, <\/em>la nuit du solstice d\u2019hiver c\u00e9l\u00e9brant la naissance du dieu du soleil Mithra. L\u2019enjeu est donc grand pour la production du programme: une audience importante est attendue pour cette f\u00eate religieuse. Pour contenter le public, il faut donc r\u00e9ussir \u00e0 obtenir le pardon. Mais cet enjeu rel\u00e8ve de la d\u00e9cision de Mona (Behnaz Jafari), fille unique et seule h\u00e9riti\u00e8re de la victime, son p\u00e8re. Les t\u00e9l\u00e9spectateurs sont juges. Le coupable doit se montrer sinc\u00e8re et implorer le pardon, ce que la femme de vingt-deux ans ne semble pas \u00eatre dispos\u00e9e \u00e0 faire. L\u2019unit\u00e9 d\u2019action recouvre donc l\u2019arriv\u00e9e de Maryam dans les locaux de l\u2019\u00e9mission jusqu\u2019\u00e0 sa sortie. Un imp\u00e9ratif de <em>timing<\/em> \u2013 l\u2019\u00e9mission \u00e9tant diffus\u00e9e en direct \u2013 qui se ressent dans la r\u00e9alisation de Massoud Bakhshi: nous suivons constamment les diff\u00e9rents protagonistes dans leurs va-et-vient. La cam\u00e9ra, m\u00eame lorsqu\u2019elle est mobile, tremble. Elle traduit la nervosit\u00e9 du personnage principal; parachut\u00e9 dans un <em>Talkshow<\/em> qui voudrait pr\u00e9senter \u00abla v\u00e9rit\u00e9 au t\u00e9l\u00e9spectateur\u00bb entre deux chanteurs de vari\u00e9t\u00e9. Evidemment, ce postulat n\u2019est qu\u2019un simulacre: le petit reportage diffus\u00e9 au d\u00e9but du programme pour pr\u00e9senter les faits aux t\u00e9l\u00e9spectateurs dramatise les \u00e9v\u00e9nements, les reconstitue dans des mises en sc\u00e8ne tape-\u00e0-l\u2019\u0153il, viole l\u2019intimit\u00e9 des protagonistes. Qu\u2019importe, il n\u2019est pas essentiel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plus que les \u00e9v\u00e9nements \u2013 n\u2019oublions pas que le jugement a d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 prononc\u00e9 \u2013, le point culminant de l\u2019\u00e9mission r\u00e9side dans la th\u00e9\u00e2tralisation de repentance du coupable. Si le public est convaincu, l\u2019\u00e9mission s\u2019engage \u00e0 payer \u00able prix du sang\u00bb. Celui-ci se r\u00e9f\u00e8re \u00e0 la loi du talion: une somme doit \u00eatre pay\u00e9e par la famille des accus\u00e9s afin d\u2019\u00e9viter au condamn\u00e9 la peine capitale. Il remplace alors le sang vers\u00e9. Diff\u00e9rents rebondissements \u2013 quelque peu attendus \u2013 s\u2019inscrivent dans ce huis clos dont la narration reste sobre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Une lecture trop \u00e9vidente?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Il serait \u00e9vident d\u2019enfoncer des portes ouvertes en critiquant ce qui appara\u00eet \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cran comme ind\u00e9fendable: le jugement d\u2019un crime \u00e0 travers une \u00e9mission de t\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9alit\u00e9, la n\u00e9gation du jugement d\u00e9j\u00e0 prononc\u00e9 au profit d\u2019un tribunal sur la place publique, l\u2019exag\u00e9ration des \u00e9motions sous le regard des cam\u00e9ras afin de d\u00e9montrer que l\u2019on souhaite sauver sa vie. Comme dans son traitement des classes sociales, le long-m\u00e9trage est organis\u00e9 de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 provoquer de l\u2019incompr\u00e9hension et de la col\u00e8re. Est-ce le m\u00eame sentiment pour un spectateur iranien? Selon le r\u00e9alisateur, la distribution de son film co\u00efncide avec l\u2019arr\u00eat de l\u2019\u00e9mission dont il s\u2019inspire. Hasard de calendrier ou r\u00e9elle influence, le film a le m\u00e9rite de r\u00e9v\u00e9ler les soubassements de proc\u00e9d\u00e9s escamotant les valeurs port\u00e9es par la religion. Sans en d\u00e9voiler la r\u00e9solution, le film d\u00e9voile combien la notion de pardon est une injonction aux yeux des autres avant d\u2019\u00eatre un acte de foi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mit <em>Yalda<\/em>, Massoud Bakhshi offre une fen\u00eatre sur un univers m\u00e9connu de son pays d\u2019origine.
