Encore une fois confront\u00e9e \u00e0 un mat\u00e9riau litt\u00e9raire, celle-ci parvient avec brio \u00e0 transposer la litt\u00e9rature balzacienne sur les planches.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more Lire l\u2019article (en libre acc\u00e8s)-->\n\n\n\n<p>Le r\u00e9cit nous fait suivre Lucien, fils de l\u2019h\u00e9riti\u00e8re de la noble famille de Rubempr\u00e9 et d\u2019un modeste pharmacien nomm\u00e9 Chardon, union qui occasionne moult railleries de la part des habitants de sa ville natale. Ce jeune provincial, qui r\u00eave de devenir po\u00e8te, se laisse convaincre par sa protectrice Madame de Bargeton de la suivre d\u00e9couvrir la vie parisienne, cette derni\u00e8re lui assurant de meilleures opportunit\u00e9s professionnelles \u00e0 la capitale. Cependant, d\u00e8s son arriv\u00e9e, Lucien se retrouve esseul\u00e9 et livr\u00e9 aux pr\u00e9mices d\u2019une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 ne fonctionnant qu\u2019avec le concept d\u2019argent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Un spectacle qui pr\u00f4ne l\u2019authenticit\u00e9 humaine<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019interpr\u00e9tation du personnage de Lucien par la jeune et dynamique Jenna Thiam am\u00e8ne \u00e0 une brillante et subtile repr\u00e9sentation de la pubert\u00e9 masculine. La sensibilit\u00e9 de son jeu de com\u00e9dienne \u00e9meut les \u00e2mes. Mais cette prise de parti r\u00e9v\u00e8le aussi et surtout une d\u00e9nonciation d\u2019un mod\u00e8le de soci\u00e9t\u00e9 sexiste et h\u00e9t\u00e9ronormatif \u00e0 l\u2019aube de la r\u00e9volution industrielle, perp\u00e9tu\u00e9 de nos jours dans un bon nombre de publicit\u00e9s. Jenna Thiam prend avec l\u00e9gitimit\u00e9 sa place dans une excellente distribution comptant sur Charlotte Van Bervessel\u00e8s, H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Chevallier, Alex Fondja et Guillaume Compiano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Chacun de ces cinq com\u00e9diens incarne \u00e0 lui seul au moins trois r\u00f4les diff\u00e9rents \u2013 nous avons donc affaire \u00e0 seize personnages \u2013 soigneusement distingu\u00e9s entre eux par d\u2019intelligibles transitions de costumes qui se font sous les yeux des spectateurs, et parmi eux. On retrouve dans ce choix sc\u00e9nique le mod\u00e8le du th\u00e9\u00e2tre de Brecht qui visait \u00e0 mettre au jour les machineries et \u00e0 effacer les effets d\u2019illusion. De la m\u00eame fa\u00e7on que le sexe des actrices ne contraint aucunement leur cr\u00e9dibilit\u00e9 dans les r\u00f4les masculins, l\u2019absence de tout objet sc\u00e9nique, accessoire ou d\u00e9cor n\u2019obstrue gu\u00e8re les voies de notre immersion dans l\u2019histoire; au contraire, cela y contribue m\u00eame, nous invitant \u00e0 ne pas nous attacher qu\u2019\u00e0 la mat\u00e9rialit\u00e9, dont il est pourtant beaucoup question dans l\u2019\u0153uvre de Balzac, \u00e0 commencer par les int\u00e9r\u00eats financiers et les biens immobiliers et domestiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>A travers cette retranscription \u00e0 la sc\u00e8ne, la metteuse en sc\u00e8ne rejoint la pr\u00e9cision avec laquelle Balzac a su pressentir l\u2019influence de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de l\u2019argent et du para\u00eetre sur les rapports humains. En proie aux aspirations p\u00e9cuniaires comme aux int\u00e9r\u00eats personnels de ceux et celles qui l\u2019entourent, Lucien, \u00e0 l\u2019image de nombre de jeunes qui se retrouvent actuellement en situation de pr\u00e9carit\u00e9, d\u00e9couvre au fur et \u00e0 mesure de son ascension sociale la complexit\u00e9 de la condition et de la com\u00e9die humaine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>09\/11
