Cela pourrait \u00eatre le d\u00e9but d\u2019une \u00e9mission de t\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9alit\u00e9 ou d\u2019un essai sociologique, mais il s\u2019agit du sujet d\u2019un spectacle. Or, que se passe-t-il quand les nantis se retrouvent sur sc\u00e8ne? Une pi\u00e8ce, cr\u00e9\u00e9e au Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Benno Besson, traite du pouvoir des nantis et invite les spectateurs \u00e0 s\u2019interroger sur la vision du monde de ces privil\u00e9gi\u00e9s. Echange avec Vincent Bonillo, metteur en sc\u00e8ne du spectacle <em>Haute Soci\u00e9t\u00e9<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>Le Regard Libre:<\/em> Quelles sont les sources d\u2019inspiration\u00a0de votre spectacle?<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Vincent Bonillo: Je m\u2019int\u00e9resse et travaille sur la th\u00e9matique du pouvoir depuis plusieurs ann\u00e9es d\u00e9j\u00e0. <em>Haute Soci\u00e9t\u00e9<\/em>, qui est une cr\u00e9ation originale, tire son inspiration de plusieurs sources. Je citerai, entre autres, les s\u00e9ries t\u00e9l\u00e9vis\u00e9es telles que <em>Storm<\/em>, <em>The White Lotus<\/em>, le film <em>Triangle of Sadness<\/em>, diff\u00e9rents documentaires sur les ultras-riches, ainsi que des ouvrages comme <em>Servir les riches<\/em> (La D\u00e9couverte, 2022) d\u2019Aliz\u00e9e Delpierre et <em>La violence des riches<\/em> (La D\u00e9couverte, 2013) des sociologues Monique Pin\u00e7on-Charlot et Michel Pin\u00e7on, que j\u2019ai lus avec attention. A mes yeux, il s\u2019agit d\u2019une th\u00e9matique effarante et qui a engendr\u00e9 chez moi un certain nombre d\u2019interrogations qui m\u2019ont pouss\u00e9 \u00e0 cr\u00e9er ce spectacle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pourquoi cette th\u00e9matique vous frappe-t-elle?<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Je dirais que les gens de pouvoir exercent une forme de fascination sur le commun des mortels. En outre, il s\u2019agit d\u2019un sujet abondamment trait\u00e9 au th\u00e9\u00e2tre. Je pense notamment aux pi\u00e8ces de Shakespeare. Les gens de pouvoir incarnent ce qui peut sembler le plus caract\u00e9ristique de nos soci\u00e9t\u00e9s et que l\u2019on peut voir dans des s\u00e9ries t\u00e9l\u00e9vis\u00e9es comme <em>Dallas <\/em>ou <em>Succession<\/em>. Or, nous sommes fascin\u00e9s par ces gens-l\u00e0 et nous souhaitons les comprendre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dans ce spectacle, vous vous int\u00e9ressez au pouvoir d\u2019une certaine classe, celle des nantis&#8230;<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce qui est fascinant avec les nantis, c\u2019est qu\u2019il y a un d\u00e9calage entre leur vision de la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 et la n\u00f4tre, celle des gens ordinaires. Il y a quelques ann\u00e9es, j\u2019avais travaill\u00e9 sur un texte du philosophe et \u00e9conomiste fran\u00e7ais Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Lordon, intitul\u00e9 <em>D\u2019un retournement \u00e0 l\u2019autre<\/em>, dans lequel il met notamment en sc\u00e8ne Nicolas Sarkozy et la crise de 2008. J\u2019en avais fait un spectacle en 2013. Les th\u00e9matiques abord\u00e9es dans <em>Haute Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 <\/em>et dans <em>D\u2019un retournement \u00e0 l\u2019autre <\/em>sont des sujets d\u2019actualit\u00e9 qui touchent un certain nombre d\u2019objets. Et puis, je pense que les probl\u00e9matiques auxquelles nous sommes confront\u00e9s \u00e0 notre \u00e9poque sont de plus en plus dures et qu\u2019il convient de permettre aux spectateurs d\u2019y r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir au moyen de notre spectacle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Que voulez-vous dire?<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>M\u00eame si <em>Haute Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 <\/em>aborde des sujets extr\u00eamement s\u00e9rieux, le spectacle passe aussi par une forme de tragicom\u00e9die dans laquelle il y a des moments d\u00e9risoires, comiques, voire absurdes, qui permettent aux spectateurs de rire et, ce faisant, de r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir \u00e0 ces probl\u00e9matiques.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">En ce qui concerne le travail de plateau, comment avez-vous travaill\u00e9 avec les com\u00e9diens?<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Tout d\u2019abord, j\u2019aimerais souligner que <em>Haute Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 <\/em>est la premi\u00e8re pi\u00e8ce dans laquelle je suis \u00e0 la fois metteur en sc\u00e8ne et auteur. En effet, \u00e0 l\u2019origine, il n\u2019\u00e9tait pas pr\u00e9vu que j\u2019\u00e9crive un texte. Or, au d\u00e9but de notre travail, les com\u00e9diennes Barbara Baker, Shin Iglesias, Julia Batinova, Marie Ripoll, la dramaturge Laure Hirsig et moi-m\u00eame avons commenc\u00e9 par faire quelques exp\u00e9rimentations sur le plateau, par r\u00e9aliser quelques improvisations et en discuter. Au fil de ces \u00e9changes et de ces exp\u00e9rimentations, j\u2019ai commenc\u00e9 par \u00e9crire un texte qui a pris de plus en plus de consistance et j\u2019ai d\u00e9gag\u00e9 une douzaine et une quinzaine de sayn\u00e8tes \u00e9crites. Ce mouvement de va-et-vient entre le plateau et l\u2019\u00e9criture au cours du processus de cr\u00e9ation \u00e9tait vraiment tr\u00e8s agr\u00e9able. Il faut dire que nous avions tous envie de travailler ensemble et de r\u00e9aliser ce spectacle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Finalement, j\u2019aimerais vous interroger sur la sc\u00e9nographie que vous d\u00e9ployez dans <em>Haute Soci\u00e9t\u00e9<\/em>. Quelle utilisation faites-vous du lieu\u00a0dans votre spectacle?<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>La sc\u00e9nographie de notre spectacle n\u2019est pas ind\u00e9pendante du lieu dans lequel elle s\u2019inscrit. Celle-ci prend en compte \u00abla majest\u00e9\u00bb du Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Benno Besson, si je puis dire. Nous avons choisi de faire de ce th\u00e9\u00e2tre le ch\u00e2teau des nantis, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire qu\u2019\u00e0 leur arriv\u00e9e les spectateurs sont accueillis par les com\u00e9diens pour \u00abune soir\u00e9e th\u00e9\u00e2trale\u00bb. Le spectacle prend place dans la salle du Foyer du th\u00e9\u00e2tre et nous utilisons celle-ci dans sa largeur: le couloir de l\u2019\u00e9tablissement est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme une sorte de salle et nous utilisons \u00e9galement les balcons.
