Isol\u00e9. L\u00e2ch\u00e9 par son ancien parti, logiquement courrouc\u00e9 pour son infid\u00e9lit\u00e9, le voici (\u00e0 nouveau) refoul\u00e9 par En Marche! qu\u2019il pensait rejoindre, empruntant un tapis rouge. Mais rien n\u2019y fait, le pr\u00e9tendant ne trouvait pas, et ne trouve toujours pas, malgr\u00e9 son pass\u00e9, son exp\u00e9rience, ses relations, son r\u00f4le de Premier Ministre, gr\u00e2ce aux yeux du symbole du renouveau. Pris entre le marteau et l\u2019enclume, Manuel est seul, abandonn\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more Lire la suite de la chronique (en libre acc\u00e8s)-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gmail-p1\">Triste sort pour celui qui avait milit\u00e9 aupr\u00e8s du Pr\u00e9sident sortant pour faire entrer ce technocrate ambitieux dans son gouvernement. Avec lui, il allait faire des r\u00e9formes, pouvoir se profiler comme le \u00abSchr\u00f6der\u00bb fran\u00e7ais. Quelques mois et quelques impertinences distill\u00e9es dans une presse complaisante plus tard, voil\u00e0 Valls d\u00e9pass\u00e9. Ringardis\u00e9 par ce nouveau venu qui contrairement \u00e0 lui sait convaincre, sait plaire et \u00e9couter. Bref, incarner ce renouveau qu\u2019il voulait porter. La loi Macron, qui avait une majorit\u00e9 pour la faire passer par simple votation, servira de r\u00e9ponse. Valls emploie le 49-3&nbsp;pour&nbsp;torpiller l\u2019image et le travail de titan fourni en coulisse par le jeune arrogant. Mais rien n\u2019y fait, la dynamique ne s\u2019inverse pas. Valls est pi\u00e9g\u00e9. Entre un Pr\u00e9sident en disgr\u00e2ce et la coqueluche des m\u00e9dias, il ne reste que peu de place pour celui qui se r\u00eavait en synth\u00e8se des deux. Il voit l\u2019\u00e9tau se refermer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gmail-p1\">Courageux sur le tard, contrairement \u00e0 d\u2019autres, Manuel Valls paie son manque de vision. Il fait entrer le loup dans la bergerie, lui vole sa victoire, puis refuse de voir la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 en face. Impossible pour quelqu\u2019un comme lui, qui accepte l\u2019\u00e9conomie de march\u00e9 tout en repr\u00e9sentant la ligne soci\u00e9tale la plus dure au sein de la gauche, de gagner cette primaire. Il fallait fuir, prendre le large, oser rassembler au-del\u00e0 des appareils de parti. Mais soyons honn\u00eate, difficile d\u2019envisager une r\u00e9ussite \u00e0 pareille aventure folle. Il n\u2019en a pas les qualit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gmail-p1\">Le voil\u00e0 donc, lui qui incarnait l\u2019avenir de la gauche, r\u00e9duit \u00e0 qu\u00e9mander une investiture aupr\u00e8s de son ami d\u2019hier. Logiquement refus\u00e9e, tant il repr\u00e9sente le monde qui se meurt, avec ses logiques devenues insupportables. Mais beau joueur, le nouveau Pr\u00e9sident laisse la porte entre-ouverte. En refusant de placer un candidat En Marche! face \u00e0 lui, il laisse supposer que l\u2019ancien Premier ministre n\u2019est pas son ennemi, \u00e0 d\u00e9faut d\u2019\u00eatre son ami. La bienveillance, non pas d\u2019une main tendue, mais celle de refuser d\u2019abattre un homme \u00e0 terre. Sur le long-terme, un accueil dans cette nouvelle famille qu\u2019il souhaitait ardemment rejoindre n\u2019est pas exclu. Mais il doit d\u2019abord dispara\u00eetre, cesser d\u2019incarner ce que semble d\u00e9tester la France. En refusant d\u2019affronter l\u2019Histoire, Manuel s\u2019est bris\u00e9.
