Uncomfortable, mocked, and having lost her mother, the young girl leads a life that no one would envy. Her face seems perpetually filled with sadness: she\u2019s on the verge of bursting into tears at any moment. She lives in a small apartment with a father who spends his time in front of the television in his bathrobe and a mischievous little sister who has clearly received no education. Nevertheless, Lila has the soul of a true poet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De son c\u00f4t\u00e9, Mo est un homme de trente ans secr\u00e8tement analphab\u00e8te. Son gagne-pain ? Des courses automobiles clandestines avec des gitans. Lui, orphelin de p\u00e8re, a toujours sa m\u00e8re, mais il a coup\u00e9 tout lien avec elle depuis qu&rsquo;elle l&rsquo;a abandonn\u00e9. Deux existences incendi\u00e9es se rencontrent au hasard d&rsquo;un arr\u00eat de bus. Si le coup de foudre est \u00e9vident au premier regard, la communication comporte quelques difficult\u00e9s entre la b\u00e8gue et l&rsquo;illettr\u00e9. Cet amour mouvement\u00e9 r\u00e9v\u00e9lera toutefois une f\u00e9condit\u00e9 qui assumera la trag\u00e9die respective des amants, au prix de d\u00e9ceptions et larmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Blunders<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Des larmes, un telle histoire en provoque. Sara Forestier ne para\u00eet pas avoir choisi la facilit\u00e9 en abordant ce sujet. D&rsquo;autant plus qu&rsquo;il s&rsquo;agit de sa premi\u00e8re r\u00e9alisation, o\u00f9 elle incarne en m\u00eame temps le r\u00f4le principal, pour jouer une b\u00e8gue. Au palmar\u00e8s des films r\u00e9compens\u00e9 pour l&rsquo;entassement des difficult\u00e9s, elle tiendrait sans aucun doute la premi\u00e8re place. Cela lui a co\u00fbt\u00e9 autant de m\u00e9pris que de louanges. La critique est effectivement mitig\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>M<\/em> peut d\u00e9plaire, \u00e0 juste titre. Un certain nombre de maladresses en sont la cause. Les sc\u00e8nes de passion amoureuse comme celles des disputes violentes durent \u00e0 n&rsquo;en plus finir. D&rsquo;une part, elles polluent la po\u00e9sie g\u00e9n\u00e9rale du long-m\u00e9trage, d&rsquo;autre part elles perturbent le spectateur de fa\u00e7on inappropri\u00e9e. On a encore soulign\u00e9 d&rsquo;autres points plus discutables, \u00e0 savoir un jeu superficiel de Sara Forestier et le versant artificiel de la narration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Left Behind by Life<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>M<\/em> peut aussi plaire, avec pertinence. A des ann\u00e9es-lumi\u00e8re de la superficialit\u00e9, l&rsquo;interpr\u00e9tation de Lila est d\u00e9fendue par sa justesse, la profonde \u00e9motion qu&rsquo;elle d\u00e9gage et sa force \u00e9tonnante naissant au fil de l&rsquo;histoire. Mo, quant \u00e0 lui, est davantage \u00e9pargn\u00e9 des d\u00e9bats par la notori\u00e9t\u00e9 de son acteur : Redouanne Harjane. Tout naturellement, son regard sauvage s\u00e9duit, et sa physionomie de guerrier ne laisse d&rsquo;autre choix que d&rsquo;adh\u00e9rer \u00e0 son talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The photograph highlights the purity radiated by the couple by using a motion-sensitive camera, which also conveys the two lovers\u2019 turmoil through alternating moments of blurriness and sharp focus. Set to the music of the great Christophe, the score lends an electric yet fragile rhythm to the painful silences of a woman who stutters and the absences of an illiterate man. All in all, *M* reveals a few flaws; yet it promises to offer those of us who feel left behind by life\u2014a feeling we all share\u2014a space in which to express ourselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u00abWhat am I supposed to do?
