This time, however, it's directed differently, with not actors playing characters, but the protagonists of an event playing themselves. This feature-length film is a re-enactment of the foiled attack on a Paris-bound train on August 21, 2015.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Les trois Am\u00e9ricains Spencer Stone, Alek Skarlatos et Anthony Sadler jouent leur propre r\u00f4le dans lequel ils ont emp\u00each\u00e9 le massacre pr\u00e9m\u00e9dit\u00e9 d\u2019un terroriste djihadiste \u00e0 bord du Thalys 9364 pour Paris. Eastwood ne se contente pas de mettre en sc\u00e8ne ce drame d\u00e9jou\u00e9, mais revient sur l\u2019enfance et l\u2019amiti\u00e9 des trois jeunes hommes qui ont d\u00e9coul\u00e9 sur leur pr\u00e9sence dans ce train. Ces trois amis ne faisaient \u00e0 la base qu\u2019un tour d\u2019Europe, puis se sont retrouv\u00e9s dans une situation qui n\u00e9cessitait courage et improvisation.<\/p>\n<p>Cette production n\u2019est pas seulement diff\u00e9rente par sa distribution, mais aussi par la mani\u00e8re de filmer et le sc\u00e9nario pose parfois des interrogations sur les intentions du r\u00e9alisateur. En effet, m\u00eame si le film se doit de refl\u00e9ter la r\u00e9alit\u00e9, certaines sc\u00e8nes sont quelquefois caricaturales et semblent v\u00e9hiculer un message qui n\u2019est pas pertinent selon moi\u00a0: ils \u00e9taient pr\u00e9destin\u00e9s \u00e0 vivre ce drame.<\/p>\n<h3>Le destin comme fil rouge<\/h3>\n<p>Le film tourne autour de la vie des trois jeunes gar\u00e7ons\u00a0; on les voit jeunes dans une \u00e9cole tr\u00e8s catholique de Californie qui leur apprend la discipline et le respect de la religion. Evidemment, les trois gar\u00e7ons ne sont pas comme les autres \u00e9l\u00e8ves, car ils jurent, ils peinent en cours et veulent uniquement \u00ab\u00a0jouer \u00e0 la guerre\u00a0\u00bb ensemble. Plus tard, Spencer et Alek s\u2019engagent dans l\u2019arm\u00e9e alors qu\u2019Anthony se consacre \u00e0 ses \u00e9tudes.<\/p>\n<p>Certes, les diff\u00e9rents \u00e9v\u00e9nements de leur vie sont incontestables, mais c\u2019est la mani\u00e8re dont ils sont mis en sc\u00e8ne qui pose un probl\u00e8me. En effet, le film nous donne l\u2019impression que ces trois jeunes se sont pr\u00e9par\u00e9s inconsciemment \u00e0 cet attentat d\u00e8s leur plus jeune \u00e2ge. Plusieurs sc\u00e8nes font r\u00e9f\u00e9rence au destin\u00a0; que ce soit de la part des m\u00e8res qui sentent que leurs fils vont vivre quelque chose d\u2019extraordinaire, ou encore le pressentiment de l\u2019un des gar\u00e7ons qui a l\u2019impression que sa vie l\u2019emm\u00e8ne vers quelque chose de grandiose. Les faits et les dires n\u2019ont pas \u00e0 \u00eatre remis en cause, mais la mani\u00e8re de les traiter comme promis \u00e0 une destin\u00e9e ne para\u00eet pas pertinent.\u00a0De plus, Alek maintient dans une interview qu\u2019ils \u00e9taient \u00ab\u00a0au mauvais endroit au mauvais moment\u00a0\u00bb, ce qui renforce l\u2019incompr\u00e9hension face au sc\u00e9nario du film.<\/p>\n<h3>Grand travail de reconstitution<\/h3>\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 un b\u00e9mol sur le sc\u00e9nario, Clint Eastwood a insist\u00e9 sur la vraisemblance de sa r\u00e9alisation en mettant en place une reconstitution millim\u00e9tr\u00e9e des \u00e9v\u00e9nements. Il a non seulement recrut\u00e9 une grande partie des individus pr\u00e9sents dans le train au moment du drame, mais il a aussi eu recours aux \u00e9quipes de secours qui s\u2019\u00e9taient mobilis\u00e9es ce jour-l\u00e0. C\u2019est une d\u00e9cision audacieuse de la part du r\u00e9alisateur, car il reconstitue un \u00e9v\u00e9nement terrible que les acteurs eux-m\u00eames choisissent de revivre et d\u2019interpr\u00e9ter. Le r\u00e9alisme est bien pr\u00e9sent d\u2019autant plus qu\u2019aucun artifice n\u2019a \u00e9t\u00e9 ajout\u00e9\u00a0; il n\u2019y a presque pas de musique et la sc\u00e8ne dans le train est tr\u00e8s prenante, car il n\u2019y a pas de cri ou d\u2019hyst\u00e9rie contrairement \u00e0 certains <em>blockbusters<\/em>, mais que du silence et de la peur.<\/p>\n<p>En d\u00e9finitive, le fait de vouloir mettre \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cran de vrais h\u00e9ros est une initiative louable de la part de Clint Eastwood. Cependant, il ne faut pas oublier que ce film veut tendre \u00e0 la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 des faits et l\u2019intervention des trois jeunes hommes, en tant qu\u2019acteurs de leur propre personnage, casse la barri\u00e8re de la fiction et nous emm\u00e8ne plus vers une reconstitution. C\u2019est pourquoi l\u2019attente ne doit pas \u00eatre la m\u00eame que pour\u00a0<em>American Sniper, <\/em>ce dernier \u00e9tant davantage un film tir\u00e9 d\u2019une histoire vraie alors que <em>The 15h17 to Paris <\/em>ressemble \u00e0 des faits r\u00e9els restitu\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cran.<\/p>\n<p><em>Write to the author : <a
