{"id":17535,"date":"2018-11-02T17:37:06","date_gmt":"2018-11-02T16:37:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leregardlibre.com\/?p=17535"},"modified":"2026-02-08T21:27:26","modified_gmt":"2026-02-08T20:27:26","slug":"celestial-a-promising-newcomer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leregardlibre.com\/en\/gastronomie\/la-celestial-une-nouvelle-venue-prometteuse\/","title":{"rendered":"Celestial, a promising newcomer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Microbrewery Fridays - Max Moeschler<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Popular with holidaymakers in summer and nature-lovers in search of enchanting landscapes in winter, the marshes and beach at La T\u00e8ne, at the eastern end of Lake Neuch\u00e2tel, have all the makings of an unspoilt paradise, set between an industrial zone and the conurbation.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>nearby. It's in this unique setting that the young and dashing Brasserie Celestial has been built.<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Founded only in April this year, the flamboyant Brasserie Celestial thinks big. Founded by Marianne, who previously worked in communications, and Peter, a passionate brewer, the brewery is capable of producing 4,000 liters a week, making it the largest craft brewery, in terms of production capacity, in the canton of Neuch\u00e2tel.<\/p>\n<p>It was during a trip to the United States that Peter discovered the immense diversity of the market. <i>Craft Beers <\/i>across the Atlantic. This journey inspired the six beers that make up the brewery's assortment, and the spirit that characterizes them: \u00abyou can't please everyone, and you're not going to try! Following this credo, the beers produced at La T\u00e8ne all have a strong character, resolutely oriented towards typical, strongly hopped flavours. The bitterness imparted by the hops is their creator's pet peeve: \u00bbIf it were up to me, they'd all be more bitter,\u00ab he laughs.<\/p>\n<p>The beers therefore come in six different forms, each capable of charming a different palate. The white, \u00abl'Intemporelle\u00bb, the brewery's only Belgian-style beer, and <em>bestseller<\/em> is also the most accessible and pleasantly refreshing. Hopped beers of the <i>Pale Ales <\/i>and IPA beers in particular: the excellent \u00abT\u00e8ne out of T\u00e8ne\u00bb, <em>pale ale<\/em> extremely fruity, the powerful \u00ab7\u00e8me ciel\u00bb, a double IPA with marked bitterness and woody aromas, and the very interesting \u00abDernier cri\u00bb, in the style <i>New England IPA, <\/i>with its aromas of vine peach and mild bitterness, will delight novices and seasoned connoisseurs alike.<\/p>\n<p>The range is successfully rounded off by \u00abElektron libre\u00bb, an American-inspired caramel amber ale, and \u00abl'Autre monde\u00bb, <em>stout<\/em> \u00e0 l\u2019amertume franche et brass\u00e9e avec du caf\u00e9, pour le plus grand plaisir de nos papilles. Si la Celestial continue sur cette lanc\u00e9e, il ne fait nul doute qu&rsquo;elle sera appel\u00e9e \u00e0 se retrouver sur le devant de la sc\u00e8ne de la bi\u00e8re suisse, dans un futur pas si
