Cinema Wednesdays - Alexandre W\u00e4lti<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le pass\u00e9 fait que le pr\u00e9sent est diff\u00e9rent. Quelque part entre deux temps verbaux, deux \u00e9poques, deux r\u00e9alit\u00e9s, l\u2019identit\u00e9 trouve malgr\u00e9 tout un fil fragile sur lequel progresser en \u00e9quilibriste.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Il y a souvent un \u00e9trange d\u00e9calage entre ce que nous avons v\u00e9cu et ce que nous souhaitons vivre. Entre deux, parfois, comme dans le cas du documentariste Felipe Monroy, la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de revenir \u00e0 ses origines s\u2019impose malgr\u00e9 tout et cette d\u00e9marche d\u00e9bouche sur le surgissement progressif des fant\u00f4mes de l\u2019enfance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Los Fantasmas Del Caribe <\/em>est \u00e0 la fois l\u2019histoire intime d\u2019une famille \u00e9clat\u00e9e par la drogue et la violence tout comme le portrait d\u2019un Colombien, h\u00e9ritier des affrontements de son pays et d\u2019un homme tentant de recoller les morceaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tout commence simplement. Felipe Monroy revient sur le quotidien de sa m\u00e8re et sa force d\u2019avoir \u00e9lev\u00e9 deux enfants toute seule dans le contexte de la guerre des narcotrafiquants \u00e0 Bogota. Une femme qui les frappait sans explication. Une femme qui a perturb\u00e9 l\u2019\u00e9ducation de ses enfants sans s\u2019en rendre compte, peut-\u00eatre victime de la violence dans laquelle ils ont tous grandi ou en r\u00e9action \u00e0 l’abandon de la famille par le p\u00e8re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le documentariste filme d\u2019abord sa m\u00e8re sur le chemin du travail. Il \u00e9voque rapidement l\u2019angoisse qui est li\u00e9e au fait d\u2019avoir grandi dans un pays o\u00f9, durant l\u2019enfance, Pablo Escobar a fait la loi dans les rues. Ce n\u2019est pas un film sur les narcos, m\u00eame l\u2019antith\u00e8se de la s\u00e9rie du m\u00eame nom; plut\u00f4t sur l\u2019influence qu’un contexte politique et social peut avoir sur le quotidien familial. C\u2019est le regard presque na\u00eff d\u2019un homme sur sa vie. Une d\u00e9marche qui, il faut l\u2019avouer, semble a priori<\/em> banale et sans r\u00e9el int\u00e9r\u00eat puisque cette r\u00e9alit\u00e9 colombienne nous est tr\u00e8s lointaine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Toutefois, Felipe Monroy parvient \u00e0 rendre le cas particulier de sa famille plus universel qu\u2019il n\u2019y para\u00eet. Il identifie l\u2019humanit\u00e9 derri\u00e8re les erreurs de jeunesse et le pardon indispensable pour avancer dans une relation compliqu\u00e9e avec ses parents. Pardonner comme les FARC face au gouvernement et aux Colombiens.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une volont\u00e9 intime de recoller des morceaux qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9parpill\u00e9s par le destin, comme le diraient certains, ou par la vie, comme en seraient convaincus les autres. Cette exp\u00e9rience de revenir sur une p\u00e9riode r\u00e9volue pour tenter de reconstruire avec les parcelles d’\u00eatre que nous poss\u00e9dons, et plus sereinement qu’en temps de guerre.
