Cinema Wednesdays - Jonas Follonier<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chamboultout<\/strong><\/em> directed by Eric Lavaine, brings together Jos\u00e9 Garcia in top acting form and Alexandre Lamay, whose smile is softer, franker and more tragic than ever, in a very touching story. Yet another example of successful, universal French cinema.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

B\u00e9atrice (Alexandre Lamy) et son mari Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric (Jos\u00e9 Garcia) ont v\u00e9cu un drame: un beau jour, ils jouaient au tennis, ils \u00e9taient bien et, tout \u00e0 coup, patatras!<\/em>, Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric se fait rentrer dedans par un v\u00e9hicule. De l’accident s’ensuit un coma de 126 jours. Une longue sieste que B\u00e9atrice doit expliquer tant bien que mal \u00e0 leurs trois enfants. A son r\u00e9veil, le p\u00e8re de famille ne voit plus. Mais en plus d’\u00eatre aveugle, il souffre d’un grand d\u00e9ficit cognitif. D\u00e9pourvu de m\u00e9moire \u00e0 court terme, Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric a aussi tendance \u00e0 dire tout ce qu’il pense. Ce qui se caract\u00e9rise souvent par \u00abJ’ai faim.\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cette situation mise en place par un sc\u00e9nario bien \u00e9crit donne lieu \u00e0 toute une s\u00e9rie de dr\u00f4leries qui font de ce film d’Eric Lavaine une v\u00e9ritable com\u00e9die. Mais point de franchouillardises \u00e0 la Dany Boon \u2013 sauf peut-\u00eatre la participation m\u00e9diocre d’un Micha\u00ebl Youn incarnant un personnage encore plus nul que lui. Le jeu des autres acteurs comme la plupart des blagues rel\u00e8vent d’une l\u00e9g\u00e8ret\u00e9 travaill\u00e9e, en phase avec le drame sous-jacent. Chamboultout<\/em>, en bonne com\u00e9die dramatique fran\u00e7aise encline \u00e0 plaire \u00e0 l’auteur de ces lignes, s’\u00e9rige donc en \u00abvoie du milieu\u00bb, ni beauf ni intello, pour reprendre l’expression de Fabrice Luchini parlant du Myst\u00e8re Henri Pick<\/em> sur le plateau de Laurent Delahousse<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce film est une id\u00e9e de g\u00e9nie pour montrer tous les faux-semblants de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9, les m\u00e9chancet\u00e9s quotidiennes, la dictature du futile et du rigolo<\/em>, le manque de profondeur des gens. Finalement, c’est tout cet attroupement qui est ridicule, pas le malade. C’est la troupe, le groupe, la soupe de la majorit\u00e9 qui ne comprend souvent pas grand chose, qui ment, qui para\u00eet plus qu’elle n’est. Le personnage de Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric, lui, incarne l’individu, dans sa souffrance, dans son impuissance, dans sa d\u00e9tresse. \u00abQuand tout \u00e7a sera fini, on se fera un joli weekend tous les deux, \u00e7a sera bien.\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mais hors de question pour un long-m\u00e9trage de cette envergure artistique de s’arr\u00eater \u00e0 ce diagnostic froid et juste. Il s’agit de porter un message d’espoir et non de d\u00e9sespoir, de pi\u00e9t\u00e9 et non de piti\u00e9. Une pri\u00e8re la\u00efque pour la vie, pour l’am\u00e9lioration individuelle et g\u00e9n\u00e9rale. Et c’est la musique, le piano, qui permet de gu\u00e9rir. De nous guider. De nous aider \u00e0 y voir plus clair, aveugles que nous sommes. Pas pour rien que le film se conclut sur cette perle d’un fameux Berger, j’ai nomm\u00e9 Michel:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
