Musumeci<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap\">Salvador Mallo has known glory. Now he knows pain. Asthma, backaches, headaches. Depression too. For the great filmmaker is no longer in a state to create. He withdraws into himself. A reunion he hadn't expected, and a rerun of his 1980s hit, <em>Sabor<\/em>, However, these events marked a turning point in his life. The turning point was to go beyond the pain to find his way back to glory. To begin again to write a script that tells his story and his malaise, to heal his wounds. Du cin\u00e9ma d\u2019auteur. Du cin\u00e9ma d\u2019un ma\u00eetre. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0000264\/\">Pedro Almod\u00f2var<\/a> signe l\u00e0 son texte le plus autobiographique. A travers un Antonio Banderas sensible et magnifique, il raconte son enfance et le sens qu\u2019il accorde au septi\u00e8me art; le sens qu\u2019il lui accorde dans sa vie. Inutile de juger donc. Parce qu\u2019Almod\u00f2var ne se pr\u00eate \u00e0 aucune performance, et surtout il n\u2019a rien \u00e0 prouver \u00e0 qui que ce soit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Pourtant, m\u00eame si on reconna\u00eet la griffe d\u2019un cin\u00e9ma assur\u00e9 et vraiment artistique, le film ne convainc pas forc\u00e9ment en tout point. A vrai dire, il divise. Non pas forc\u00e9ment entre ceux qui adorent et ceux qui d\u00e9testent, mais plut\u00f4t entre l\u2019ennui et la passion qu\u2019il suscite. Ou entre l\u2019abondance et la p\u00e9nurie. Telle est l\u2019impression avec laquelle je suis ressorti de la salle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure><iframe src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ixCIp0CcR5k\" width=\"560\" height=\"314\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La passion et l&#8217;ennui<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Salvador adulte passionne lorsqu\u2019il se remet \u00e0 \u00e9crire, lorsqu\u2019on le suit au fond de ses tourments&nbsp; et lorsqu\u2019il livre ses pens\u00e9es. Salvador adulte ennuie lorsqu\u2019il revient sans cesse \u00e0 sa m\u00e8re, lorsqu\u2019il tra\u00eene \u00e0 agir, lorsqu\u2019il se noie dans des h\u00e9sitations quelque peu surfaites. Salvador enfant capte tout l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat lorsqu\u2019il nous emm\u00e8ne avec lui dans ses d\u00e9sirs, et notamment son <em>premier d\u00e9sir<\/em>. Salvador enfant laisse toutefois une am\u00e8re d\u00e9ception en bafouant des d\u00e9tails de &nbsp;l&#8217;enfance qui auraient m\u00e9rit\u00e9 une majeure exploitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>D\u2019une part, on baille et on s\u2019ennuie face \u00e0 des sc\u00e8nes r\u00e9p\u00e9titives, plaintives et trop discursives; d\u2019autre part, on reste sur sa faim quand des pistes ouvertes dans l\u2019histoires de l\u2019enfance sont aussit\u00f4t referm\u00e9es pour revenir \u00e0 l\u2019existence path\u00e9tique de l\u2019adulte. Donc, c\u2019est compliqu\u00e9. D\u2019autant plus que certaines sc\u00e8nes pseudo-cr\u00e9atives, comme celle du dessin anim\u00e9 qui \u00e9num\u00e8re les souffrances de Salvador, sont \u00e0 mon sens pr\u00e9tentieuses et sans go\u00fbt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">D\u00e9sol\u00e9 Pedro<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Il en va de m\u00eame pour l\u2019esth\u00e9tique des paysages et des d\u00e9cors typiquement espagnole. Typiquement m\u00e9ridionale. Avec du soleil et des murs blancs, avec des fleurs, des balcons et des lunettes de soleil. Autant, je me rince volontiers les yeux avec ce genre d\u2019ambiance. Autant, l\u00e0, j\u2019ai \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9c\u0153ur\u00e9 par ce trop-plein de soleil, par ces quartiers et ces villages trop l\u00e9ch\u00e9s. Alors m\u00eame que les deux ne jouent jamais ensemble \u2013 Penelope Cruz interpr\u00e9tant la m\u00e8re de Salvador enfant \u2013, ils font vibrer quasiment \u00e0 eux seuls tout le long-m\u00e9trage. Le visage de l\u2019une dit toute la douce col\u00e8re des m\u00e8res espagnoles qui sont en m\u00eame temps des dictatrices et des m\u00e8res poules.
