As one of the various poetic forms of praise, an ode can be heroic, celebrating great deeds, or Anacreontic, for more familiar subjects. It would seem that beer, so familiar to us, also holds a certain noble status. So let\u2019s make way for a hybrid ode in alexandrines.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more Lire la chronique-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let's drink, dear readers, to the madness within us,<br>The kind of everyday life that doesn't drive us crazy,<br>A charming in-between, that of the booze,<br>Eternal girlfriend, eternal naughty girl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let's drink to the drink, meta-consumers,<br>To its consolation, its warm freshness,<br>A drink for hipsters and proletarians alike,<br>A drink for outsiders and high-ranking civil servants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Which means that the good merges with the drunk,<br>The thing is, we come very close to the Holy Grail when there is no abuse.<br>Moving up our moods, down our throats,<br>Beer is redeeming; it tastes like barley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once a sign of the rednecks, bubus are said to be.., <br>New bearded bobos find their salvation there.<br>It is said that over hill and dale and sardines<br>Out of sight, they dip their snouts in the water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They say that bragging isn't in style these days,<br>How this era abhors any man of courage.<br>Never mind! At the local bar, from one column to the next,<br>We'll sing its alchemical power endlessly!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Write to the author: <a
