After the huge success of 2013, these cute young girls become ravishing women. <em>The Snow Queen 2<\/em> makes its mark in cinemas with music that's as central as ever, and a surprising new dimension.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more Lire la critique-->\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Music and beauty at\nDisney<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The music changes, but doesn't diminish in quality. Of course, there are always some that are quickly forgotten and others that remain in the memory. For this cartoon, we find with the title <em>I'm looking for you<\/em> a worthy successor to <em>Liberated, delivered<\/em>. In addition, the interplay of note repeats throughout the film and the insertion of melodies into the sounds of nature testify to Disney's great musical skill, making its soundtracks its strong point. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Charlotte Hervieux, Prisca Demarez - Je te cherche (From &quot;The Snow Queen 2&quot;\/Lyric Video)\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/LnI8IqPJ7eU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><figcaption><em>I'm looking for you<\/em>, main song from <em>The Snow Queen 2<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In fact, there's everything to be gained\nby focusing on music in productions aimed primarily at children.\nprimarily for children. Not only does it guarantee commercial success, but it also\nthe perpetuation of the work through albums and musicals.\nmusicals. Not to mention the art education imparted to children.\nIt's a real exercise in harmony that makes young audiences aware of beauty. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beauty that's not just aural. The care with which Elsa and Anna dress is an invitation to elegance and the need to present oneself well to others. This point has provoked debate, if not controversy, on film and children's TV shows. How can a cartoon that shows two courageous, adventurous women rise to political power so sexualize its depiction of the female gender? Slim and graceful, the two heroines go against the grain of campaigns that seek to showcase all women, from the curvaceous to the unkempt. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In my opinion, there's no need to take sides. It's good that all types of women are represented in films and on TV, but it's still legitimate to draw female characters according to the criteria of today's canonical beauty. Just as music sensitizes the ears to beauty, outfits and body aesthetics encourage us to take care of ourselves to please and to please ourselves. For me, at least, the vision of a handsome, elegant actor encourages me to take care of myself. Elsa's Christ-like dimension. Yes, she has superpowers that are not to be confused with miracles; she is queen as Christ is king; she sacrifices herself for her friends. But one of Anna's lines nearly knocked me out of my seat: \u00abElsa gave her life for the truth.\u00bb My God! It's a copy and paste from the Gospels. Without going into detail about the emphasis on resurrection, forgiveness and saving the world in the plot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Good or bad? What conclusions can we draw? First and foremost, that <em>Snow Queen 2<\/em> is not Christian propaganda. Secondly, the fact that Elsa adopts a Christ-like attitude doesn't change the cartoon's message: cultivate your talents, use them in the service of truth and goodness, and above all, never let your loved ones down.
