Aujourd\u2019hui, nous sommes un certain nombre \u00e0 regretter sa grande \u00e9poque \u00e0 lui, la p\u00e9riode 1966-1971. Celle o\u00f9 s\u2019op\u00e9rait la conversion anglo-saxonne des y\u00e9y\u00e9s sous la promesse des <em>seventies<\/em>; celle o\u00f9 se c\u00f4toyaient la vari\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019Hardy et le folk rock de Polnareff; celle du d\u00e9but des Doors, des derniers albums des Beatles et de la trilogie du dollar de Sergio Leone. Magn\u00e9to, Serge.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Il y a les demi-si\u00e8cles officiels, commen\u00e7ant par un&nbsp;0 ou un&nbsp;5. Et il y a les demi-si\u00e8cles officieux, notamment dans le domaine artistique, qui commencent l\u00e0 o\u00f9 ils veulent bien commence et qui finissent l\u00e0 o\u00f9 ils veulent bien finir. Force est de constater que dans le domaine musical et le monde cin\u00e9matographique, quelque chose se passe en Europe et aux Etats-Unis d\u00e8s l\u2019ann\u00e9e&nbsp;1966. Comme un basculement. Celui d\u2019une d\u00e9cennie <em>hippie<\/em> entrant pr\u00e9matur\u00e9ment dans la gravit\u00e9 des ann\u00e9es septante, sous fond de perfectionnement artistique et de <em>spleen<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-cote-musique-la-fin-des-yeyes-un-rock-made-in-france-et-l-arrivee-des-albums-concepts\"><strong>C\u00f4t\u00e9 musique: la fin des y\u00e9y\u00e9s, un rock <em>made in France<\/em> et l\u2019arriv\u00e9e des albums-concepts<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>En France, c\u2019est le mouvement des chanteurs y\u00e9y\u00e9s qui va prendre un bon coup sur la figure. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la sensibilit\u00e9 et au flair d\u2019une poign\u00e9e d\u2019artistes (Fran\u00e7oise Hardy, Michel Polnareff, Serge Gainsbourg, Jacques Dutronc), la chanson hexagonale gagne une saveur anglo-saxonne, tout en restant bas\u00e9e sur des textes fran\u00e7ais \u2013 et soign\u00e9s. Polnareff, c\u2019est l\u2019importation du folk rock dans son premier album<em> Love Me Please Love Me<\/em> en&nbsp;1966, en m\u00eame temps que la sortie du premier album tout aussi folk rock du groupe America aux Etats-Unis. Sauf qu\u2019il y la patte Polnareff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A lire aussi | <a href=\"https:\/\/leregardlibre.com\/musique\/les-polnarevolutions\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"6519\">Les polnar\u00e9volutions<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Puis, c\u2019est l\u2019unique occurrence fran\u00e7aise de pop baroque en\u00a01968 avec l\u2019opus tr\u00e8s londonien <em><a data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"1227\" href=\"https:\/\/leregardlibre.com\/musique\/escapade-baroque-au-bal-des-laze\/\">Le Bal des Laze<\/a><\/em>. Deux albums-concepts d\u2019une coh\u00e9rence et d\u2019une innovation absolues, qui pr\u00e9c\u00e9deront le chef-d\u2019\u0153uvre <em>Polnareff\u2019s<\/em> (1971). Cet album grandiloquent pr\u00e9sentera un genre invent\u00e9 par l\u2019artiste, une sorte de pop exp\u00e9rimentale trouvant sa puret\u00e9 embl\u00e9matique dans <em>Qui a tu\u00e9 grand-maman?<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1971, c\u2019est aussi l\u2019ann\u00e9e du chef-d\u2019\u0153uvre de Serge Gainsbourg, <em>Histoire de Melody Nelson<\/em>. La dimension album-concept est encore plus flagrante que chez le chanteur aux lunettes d\u00e9sormais blanches: chez Gainsbourg, elle est aussi pr\u00e9sente dans les textes. Tout tourne autour de l\u2019histoire de cette Melody, jeune fille en fin de quatorzaine, et les m\u00e9lodies, elles, tournent autour d\u2019un rock anglosaxon pur jus, mais peut-\u00eatre encore plus abouti que dans sa terre originelle. Les arrangement sont co-sign\u00e9s par les deux compositeurs de ce premier album-concept de Gainsbourg: Gainsbourg lui-m\u00eame et Jean-Claude Vannier. Consid\u00e9r\u00e9 \u00e9galement par beaucoup comme la meilleure \u0153uvre du groupe, il contient ce qui fait de cette ann\u00e9e le sommet de la d\u00e9cennie d\u2019or: un rock empreint de m\u00e9lancolie <em>blues<\/em>, annonciatrice d\u2019une chute&#8230; La d\u00e9sillusion d\u2019un monde insouciant devenu soucieux de tout, ne croyant plus en ses id\u00e9aux de paix et de libert\u00e9, une crise lucide et tragique en somme. Mais qui se passe en musique, pour notre plus grand bonheur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-cote-cinema-le-western-spaghetti-et-la-belle-claudia-cardinale\"><strong>C\u00f4t\u00e9 cin\u00e9ma: le western spaghetti et la belle Claudia Cardinale<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Hasard des calendriers ou non, ce qui est rest\u00e9 comme le meilleur moment du western italien concerne \u00e9galement ce fameux quinquennat. Est-il encore utile de rappeler le grand art que propose la trilogie du dollar de Sergio Leone, s\u00e9rie de films dont le dernier \u2013 <em>Le bon, la brute et le truand<\/em>, le plus connu \u2013 sort en&nbsp;1966, avec une bande origine d\u2019Ennio Morricone rest\u00e9e dans la l\u00e9gende? Il y a comme une rencontre entre plusieurs beaut\u00e9s: celle d\u2019une musique instrumentale aussi classique que populaire et m\u00eame sauvage; celle d\u2019acteurs-personnages myst\u00e9rieux comme Clint Eastwood; celle d\u2019un paysage, l\u2019Ouest am\u00e9ricain\u2009.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 1968, le g\u00e9nie resurgit avec <em>Il \u00e9tait une fois dans l\u2019Ouest<\/em>, <a href=\"https:\/\/leregardlibre.com\/cinema\/il-etait-une-fois-un-chef-doeuvre\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"590\">dont la bande originale avait \u00e9t\u00e9 analys\u00e9e ici-m\u00eame<\/a>, \u00e0 nouveau sign\u00e9e par Ennio Morricone. Dans ce nouveau film de Sergio Leone, le seul personnage f\u00e9minin est incarn\u00e9 par Claudia Cardinale, une femme qui en fera phantasmer plus d\u2019un. A commencer par Polnareff, qui passe une nuit d\u2019amour avec elle. La chance. Pendant ce temps-l\u00e0, \u00e0 Hollywood, on se remet en question. Le cin\u00e9ma n\u2019est plus am\u00e9ricain, il est italien. Preuve en est l\u2019immortalit\u00e9 de cette collection d\u2019albums et de films, reli\u00e9s par une m\u00eame saison, la saison dor\u00e9e du cin\u00e9ma et de la musique occidentales de la seconde moiti\u00e9 du XX<sup>e<\/sup> si\u00e8cle. En r\u00e9alit\u00e9, personne n\u2019a jamais vraiment v\u00e9cu cette p\u00e9riode. Parce qu\u2019elle n\u2019a exist\u00e9 que dans le monde de la musique et du cin\u00e9ma!
