Musumeci<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u00abDreams don't come true. They're just pipe dreams. Life is merciless.\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>F\u00e9licie and Victor hear it every day. But the two Breton orphans dream of escaping the old monastery in Quimper to fly to Paris and experience its magic. She already sees herself shining as a star at the Op\u00e9ra Garnier; he wants to become the greatest inventor.<\/p>\n<p>The ballets of this majestic artistic institution spread throughout Europe. The engineer Eiffel realized a certain project for a tower, still under construction, in the city center, or for the famous statue that would become a symbol of the other side of the Atlantic. We're back in the glorious, charming Paris of the 1880s, decorated with Baron Hausmann's new architecture.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The mother superior, though pitying the two children, hears nothing of their hopes. The fat, mustachioed overseer, always on the lookout for any escape attempt, seems to see through their deepest desires; his role, however, is that of an armored door, and only that.<\/p>\n<p>The night of the big departure arrives: F\u00e9licie and Victor, joyfully cunning, finally leave the orphanage, but not without obstacles. Landing in Paris, their eyes captured by the grandeur of its monuments and the dazzling fire of its life, they were soon separated: Victor actually slipped off a bridge into a barge on the Seine. He shouts to his girlfriend to meet him the next day, same place, same time.<\/p>\n<p>En un jour, le jeune gar\u00e7on, d\u2019une circonstance \u00e0 l&rsquo;autre, parvient \u00e0 \u00eatre engag\u00e9 comme assistant \u00e0 tout faire chez l\u2019inventeur Eiffel. F\u00e9licie, \u00e9merveill\u00e9e et angoiss\u00e9e, courant les rues de la m\u00e9tropole, trouve son Op\u00e9ra r\u00eav\u00e9. Elle se faufile par les entr\u00e9es et aper\u00e7oit sur la sc\u00e8ne la lumineuse Rosita Mauri danser le \u00ab\u00a0Lac des Cygnes\u00a0\u00bb. Les complications ne tardent pas, parce que la petite est d\u00e9couverte et doit s\u2019enfuir aussit\u00f4t. R\u00e9ussira-t-elle \u00e0 s\u2019\u00e9riger en rose mouvante dans ce m\u00eame th\u00e9\u00e2tre\u00a0?<\/p>\n<p>La r\u00e9alisation\u00a0franco-canadienne, dirig\u00e9e par Eric Summer et Eric Warin, signe\u00a0un film d&rsquo;animation techniquement digne de toute fameuse compagnie am\u00e9ricaine. Les images sont excellentes, les personnages pr\u00e9cis et subtils, le d\u00e9cor finement travaill\u00e9.\u00a0Paris, reconstitu\u00e9e jusqu\u2019aux d\u00e9tails du b\u00e2timent du palais Trocad\u00e9ro, offre un spectacle merveilleux, parfum\u00e9 de vieille France.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019histoire est belle aussi. Elle donne au public enfantin un noble divertissement, enrob\u00e9 de danse classique pour une bonne moiti\u00e9 du film et \u00e9videmment de musique du m\u00eame type. Le langage y est \u00e9galement tr\u00e8s soign\u00e9, des \u00ab\u00a0r\u00e9verb\u00e8res\u00a0\u00bb aux \u00ab\u00a0cependant\u00a0\u00bb en passant par l&rsquo;inversion du sujet et du verbe pour l\u2019interrogation.<\/p>\n<p>Un vrai r\u00eave, m\u00eal\u00e9 d\u2019une le\u00e7on de courage et d&rsquo;un \u00e9loge de\u00a0l\u2019exigence, que <em>Ballerina<\/em>. Il constitue\u00a0actuellement l&rsquo;un des quelques films d\u2019animation qui hissent leur\u00a0spectateur, aussi petit et innocent soit-il.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abDance is part of me.
