With the return of war to Europe, as well as rising tensions around the world, the fear of large-scale conflict is resurfacing in people's minds. Not to mention the fact that, in the age of globalization, every political event affects every region of the world, more or less like a giant domino. To add insult to injury the spectre of nuclear conflict<\/a> has not disappeared, and with it, that of the \u00abend of the world\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But it's not just the nuclear apocalypse that has people worried. Many fear and predict a widespread ecological collapse, with disastrous consequences. Just as many are warning of a possible sudden collapse of our economic system, which would imply an abrupt deterioration of our political system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
