Elle profite de son travail pour rep\u00e9rer les chauffards irr\u00e9cup\u00e9rables et les assassiner sur la route en pr\u00e9vision de la sortie prochaine du tueur de son compagnon, d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 cinq ans plus t\u00f4t lors d\u2019un accident. Mais la m\u00e9canique huil\u00e9e va bient\u00f4t s\u2019enrayer. Cela, \u00e0 cause de trois probl\u00e8mes principaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mieux vaut un bon thriller ou une bonne com\u00e9die qu\u2019un mauvais thriller comique<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Premier probl\u00e8me: le film ne sait pas ce qu\u2019il veut v\u00e9hiculer. L\u2019histoire commence par des plans l\u00e9ch\u00e9s, une esth\u00e9tique proche de certains polars nordiques ou d\u2019un Nicolas Winding Refn, la tension monte, la musique est sourde, puis, subitement, une blague. Lourde et pr\u00e9visible. Et c\u2019est toute la m\u00e9canique de la sc\u00e8ne qui est rompue. S\u2019en suit un accident film\u00e9 au drone dans une obscurit\u00e9 quasi&nbsp;totale et un ralenti presque parodique tant il sort le spectateur de la sc\u00e8ne. Parmi eux, Jean-Yves Lapick, jou\u00e9 par un tr\u00e8s bon&nbsp;Tch\u00e9ky&nbsp;Karyo, qui sera l\u2019antagoniste principal. Cependant, celui-ci est trop grotesque pour \u00eatre s\u00e9rieux et donne une impression constante de parodie. Alors que Pauline essaie de l\u2019assassiner le soir suivant, une erreur d\u2019inattention, profond\u00e9ment stupide et irr\u00e9aliste pour le personnage, d\u00e9clenche une r\u00e9action en cha\u00eene. D\u00e9marre&nbsp;alors une enqu\u00eate-vengeance ridicule qui ne tient que par l\u2019idiotie g\u00e9n\u00e9ralis\u00e9e des personnages et o\u00f9 chaque sc\u00e8ne de tension est d\u00e9samorc\u00e9e par un gag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le souci de faire tourner les copains<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Le deuxi\u00e8me probl\u00e8me du film vient de son casting. Hormis&nbsp;Calamy et Karyo, l\u2019entier du casting a figur\u00e9 dans la troupe du Palmashow, ayant fait ses classes sur internet \u00e0 coups de sketches parodiques unanimement salu\u00e9s. M\u00eame si David Marsais et Gr\u00e9goire Ludig&nbsp;\u2013 les deux humoristes principaux \u2013 sont tr\u00e8s bons dans leur r\u00f4le, ils font du Palmashow: accent, comique de rupture, personnages d\u00e9cal\u00e9s, inaptes et stupides. Le probl\u00e8me, c\u2019est que c\u2019est \u00e0 eux que le sc\u00e9nariste confie l\u2019enqu\u00eate \u2013 et que celle-ci ne tient 1h35 que parce qu\u2019ils sont incomp\u00e9tents. C\u2019est en effet tr\u00e8s rare qu\u2019il fasse tourner quelqu\u2019un qui ne soit pas intervenu dans un sketch auparavant et cela se ressent dans son jeu. Trop enjou\u00e9e lors des sc\u00e8nes dramatiques, r\u00e9citant trop son texte lors des blagues, elle est malheureusement toujours \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 et emp\u00eache&nbsp;le spectateur d\u2019\u00eatre investi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Une \u00e9criture compliqu\u00e9e<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Troisi\u00e8me et dernier probl\u00e8me de <em>Good Conduct<\/em>, son souci majeur en fait, l\u2019\u00e9criture. Au cin\u00e9ma, l\u2019une des r\u00e8gles originelles est le <em>show, don\u2019t tell<\/em> (montrez, ne dites pas). Si quelque chose doit \u00eatre racont\u00e9 pour faire avancer le r\u00e9cit, il faut que ce soit au moyen d\u2019une cam\u00e9ra. Sinon, faites un roman. L\u00e0 o\u00f9 le film aurait gagn\u00e9 \u00e0 pr\u00e9senter son personnage principal et ses enjeux par des actions, il ne le fait que par ce qu\u2019on appelle le \u00abdialogue d\u2019exposition\u00bb&nbsp;\u2013 qui consiste \u00e0 faire raconter par un personnage tous les \u00e9l\u00e9ments pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents permettant de comprendre l\u2019intrigue. Mais le r\u00e9sultat est toujours grossier, et souvent inutile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C\u2019est ainsi Pauline qui, d\u00e8s la cinqui\u00e8me minute de film, raconte \u00e0 son d\u00e9funt compagnon (qu\u2019elle conserve dans une urne) toute l\u2019intrigue pr\u00e9c\u00e9dant le r\u00e9cit, son but, ses moyens, ses raisons, etc. Le probl\u00e8me, c\u2019est que jamais, dans la vie r\u00e9elle, quelqu\u2019un n\u2019agirait comme cela, pour la simple et bonne raison que les personnages sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 au courant. C\u2019est le syndrome des <em>Experts<\/em>&nbsp;qui expliquent&nbsp;\u00e0 leurs coll\u00e8gues de bureau l\u2019utilisation de leurs outils de travail quotidiens afin que le spectateur ne soit pas perdu. Tout le sc\u00e9nario en est donc alourdi, on est conscient d\u2019assister \u00e0 un film (ce qui est la pire chose au cin\u00e9ma), et on perd notre int\u00e9r\u00eat pour les enjeux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En somme, si quelques blagues sauvent la s\u00e9ance (notamment la sc\u00e8ne de camouflage de la voiture), <em>Good Conduct<\/em> aurait probablement gagn\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00eatre une vraie com\u00e9die parodique pur jus.
