Amigorena a plac\u00e9 dans son nouveau roman tout le poids du silence, celui qui s\u2019installe lorsque des \u00e9v\u00e9nements ont cass\u00e9 les liens qui existaient entre des personnes qui s\u2019aimaient. Un p\u00e8re, Aur\u00e9lien, abandonne pour quelques instants ses enfants dans un tunnel sombre au milieu de la nuit. Responsable ou non de ce geste, il entra\u00eene sa famille dans un criant mutisme. Comment r\u00e9parer ensuite ce qui semble irr\u00e9versible? Apr\u00e8s un passage derri\u00e8re les barreaux, il doit faire face, \u00e0 soi-m\u00eame dans un premier temps, puis \u00e0 sa femme et ses enfants. On l\u2019aura compris: ce roman est celui de la r\u00e9paration par le silence et le temps, pour, peut-\u00eatre, voir le bout du tunnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is the essence of his metaphors, his eye on modernity, his body in the face of poverty. She doesn't drape herself in his words, she inhabits his existence. Far from being a pompous exercise in admiration, this book is a fictional autobiography as much as a poetic art. Baudelaire's fractal <\/em>is a concentrate of literature, a shot<\/em> of lyrical fulgurances. To read Lisa Robertson is to drown in the immensity of the beauty of words, and to pull your head out of the water just in time to catch your breath, dizzy with flashes, haggard with splendor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
