Five artists take turns performing an hour of <em>stand-up<\/em> raw and complicit, driven by a strong closeness with the audience - despite a more mixed reception in theatres.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>One Tuesday a month, the brasserie at the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre du Passage in Neuch\u00e2tel trades in its cutlery for spotlights and microphones. More than just interpreting a text, testing out jokes or prowling scenes, they seize on the relaxed mood of the room to play with it and push the limits a little. It's clear that these artists are here in a spirit of open camaraderie, with each other and with the audience. For an hour, the audience moved from one universe to another, and although they were very different, they all came together in one thing: a very in-your-face tone that constantly seeks out the audience. The result is an electric, friendly atmosphere, where the laughter is as intense as the glances, and where the closeness between stage and audience transforms each and every one of them. <em>punchline<\/em> in direct exchange. It's a no-holds-barred, no-nonsense evening, where humor is lived to the rhythm of the sputters: raw and alive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So if this conviviality could be extended to the brasserie staff, it would be all the more delectable!
