Whispers and the muffled sound of discreet footsteps herald a beginning which, with misunderstood excitement, dubious emotion and apprehension, approaches; when suddenly, like a wave rising from a silent sea, like a rooster crowing too early, before the dawn of a new day, from the depths of the backstage heart, come the famous and decisive three blows. The thick, dense red curtain opens; a new reality begins on the stage, the reality of lives to be resurrected on the stage through performance. The art of drama comes to life once again. The body of one man prepares to relive the existence of another, while offering it to a unique and ephemeral audience, through the temporal presence of the actor, who reanimates a timeless story.
