Musumeci<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u00abTHE BARD. If I agree with Javotte, some of you want the tales to change and some of you don't?\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>[...]<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u00abTHE BARD. We could combine the two. We keep the stories the same, so that the tradition is maintained. And in return, you swap costumes and roles. That way, those who want to change will be able to experience adventures that aren't their own, and those who don't want to change will end up with stories that perpetuate tradition. And generations to come will continue to read the fairy tales we've always read!\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Far from the vital and serious stakes of a tragedy, we move on to the lightness of an original comedy: <em>Fairy Tales in Pergrimland<\/em>. The play was recently written by C\u00e9dric Jossen, a Valaisan with a passion for theater, who is gradually becoming a true professional. Four performances criss-crossed the Valais between February and March of this year, much to the delight of the audience, who enjoyed a great deal of laughter and entertainment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more Lire la suite de l\u2019article-->\n\n\n\n<p>La pi\u00e8ce, comme son titre l\u2019indique, d\u00e9r\u00e8gle des contes en r\u00e9glant les comptes de la sacro-sainte tradition des intouchables histoires \u00e0 raconter sans jamais changer une virgule. Monsieur Jossen nous emm\u00e8ne dans un d\u00e9lire de parodies virant aux caricatures de soci\u00e9t\u00e9, qui illustrent combien les contes peuvent \u00eatre tout \u00e0 fait d\u2019actualit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le rideau s\u2019ouvre sur un salon o\u00f9 le lecteur, d\u00e9sirant savourer de doux et envo\u00fbtants contes \u00e9ternels, pose un grand livre sur ses genoux. Il se trouvera cependant, toute la pi\u00e8ce durant, bien confus de l\u2019attitude des personnages se r\u00e9voltant contre leur propre histoire; ceux-ci se disputent \u00e9galement dans une lutte entre les progressistes qui veulent rejeter leur tradition et les conservateurs qui sont pr\u00eats \u00e0 tout pour garder leur conte tel quel. Ainsi, les diff\u00e9rentes trames s\u2019entrem\u00ealent et se d\u00e9gradent au plus grand d\u00e9sespoir du barde, ce fid\u00e8le conteur qui cherche \u00e0 les livrer dignement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour en conna\u00eetre davantage sur l\u2019auteur ainsi que sur sa pi\u00e8ce, nous l\u2019avons rencontr\u00e9 le mois dernier. C\u00e9dric Jossen se pr\u00e9sente et nous livre ses pens\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Le Regard Libre<\/em>: Vous \u00eates p\u00e8re de famille, guide au Mus\u00e9e d\u2019Histoire du Valais \u00e0 Sion, mais \u00e9galement homme de th\u00e9\u00e2tre depuis quelque temps. Qu\u2019est-ce qui vous a pouss\u00e9 \u00e0 p\u00e9n\u00e9trer le monde de l\u2019art dramatique et aller jusqu\u2019\u00e0 \u00e9crire des pi\u00e8ces?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C\u00e9dric Jossen: Depuis mon plus jeune \u00e2ge, j\u2019amusais la galerie dans ma famille ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole. Un jour, je me suis dit qu\u2019il fallait que je me lance. C\u2019\u00e9tait en 1993, \u00e0 Courtelary, dans le Jura bernois, o\u00f9 j\u2019habitais \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque. J\u2019ai jou\u00e9 avec le groupe du Clos-Bernon. Mais c\u2019est en 2007 que le virus m\u2019a pris. Je jouai avec la troupe Malacuria l\u2019adaptation de <em>Carmen<\/em> \u00e0 Sion. Ce fut tr\u00e8s intense comme exp\u00e9rience. D\u00e8s lors, tout est all\u00e9 tr\u00e8s vite. La mise en sc\u00e8ne commen\u00e7a \u00e0 m\u2019int\u00e9resser. C\u2019est d\u2019abord la troupe de Salins qui m\u2019a demand\u00e9; puis celle de Lens, les Toc\u2019Art, ensuite celle de St.-L\u00e9onard, les Arlequins, et enfin celle du Val d\u2019Anniviers, Les Compagnons de la Navizence. Aujourd\u2019hui, je continue \u00e0 mettre en sc\u00e8ne les pi\u00e8ces des trois premi\u00e8res troupes. J\u2019ai \u00e9galement moi-m\u00eame cr\u00e9\u00e9 une compagnie, la Compagnie Catharsis. Sinon, j\u2019ai suivi une formation en dramaturgie \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Lausanne et \u00e0 La Manufacture. C\u2019est en faisant tout cela que je me suis senti toujours plus pouss\u00e9 vers le th\u00e9\u00e2tre; toutes ces exp\u00e9riences, mais \u00e9galement la rencontre de personnes motiv\u00e9es \u00e0 jouer du th\u00e9\u00e2tre, \u00e0 se produire sur sc\u00e8ne. Mon envie est de leur donner la possibilit\u00e9 de le faire, de prendre du plaisir et d\u2019en donner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Fairy Tales in Pergrimland<\/em><\/strong><strong> semble \u00e9merger d\u2019une profonde r\u00e9flexion quant au sens des contes pour enfants. Quels furent l\u2019\u00e9lan ainsi que la principale source d\u2019inspiration pour l\u2019\u00e9criture de cette com\u00e9die?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lors de ma formation en dramaturgie, justement, nous avions beaucoup travaill\u00e9 sur les contes, et surtout sur la fa\u00e7on de les aborder autrement. J\u2019ai eu beaucoup de plaisir \u00e0 le faire. Ensuite, c\u2019est parce que cette ann\u00e9e, il y avait beaucoup de personnes dans la troupe de Salins qui voulaient jouer. Je ne suis pas tr\u00e8s emball\u00e9 par les com\u00e9dies contemporaines o\u00f9 il y a beaucoup de com\u00e9diens\u00a0; donc, comme rien ne m\u2019inspirait, je me suis dit qu\u2019il fallait \u00e9crire quelque chose. J\u2019ai alors demand\u00e9 \u00e0 tout le monde quels \u00e9taient leurs contes pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9s. En fonction des retours, j\u2019en ai choisis six. Puis, durant plusieurs semaines nous nous sommes retrouv\u00e9s pour \u00e9changer des id\u00e9es, tout en suivant une ligne directrice. Ensuite, pendant deux mois, je me suis inspir\u00e9 de ces id\u00e9es pour \u00e9crire la pi\u00e8ce. J\u2019avais envie, par ce biais, de montrer et aux com\u00e9diens et aux spectateurs que l\u2019on peut modifier les contes comme on en a envie. De plus, je suis \u00e9galement conteur: forc\u00e9ment, les contes me parlent particuli\u00e8rement. Mais ce qui m\u2019int\u00e9resse avant tout c\u2019est de\u00a0casser l\u2019id\u00e9e re\u00e7ue que les contes sont exclusivement pour les enfants. En fait, je ne raconte pratiquement jamais pour des enfants, plut\u00f4t uniquement pour des adultes. Et j\u2019aimerais vraiment que cette notion disparaisse afin que les adultes se laissent \u00e0 nouveau prendre au jeu. <em>Fairy Tales in Pergrimland<\/em>, c\u2019\u00e9tait un moyen d\u2019aller dans cette direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Le c\u0153ur de cette com\u00e9die para\u00eet toucher \u00e0 la question de la tradition; \u00abparce que la tradition, c\u2019est la tradition\u00bb proclame l\u2019un des personnages. Doit-on modifier et adapter les contes selon les \u00e9poques? Ou ne vaudrait-il pas mieux maintenir l\u2019histoire telle qu\u2019elle fut et la transmettre fid\u00e8lement? En somme, d\u00e9fendez-vous plut\u00f4t une conservation ou une progression dans le domaine litt\u00e9raire et artistique?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans la pi\u00e8ce, il y a les deux points de vue. C\u2019est aussi un peu ma vision des choses. Pour un enfant, il faut raconter l\u2019histoire et toujours la m\u00eame! Parce que sans cela, on se fait r\u00e9primander\u2026 Et c\u2019est normal, il faut avoir un monde r\u00e9gulier et rassurant qui vous entoure. Quand on grandit, on peut laisser plus libre cours \u00e0 son imagination. Par exemple: pourquoi la m\u00e8re du petit chaperon rouge envoie-t-elle sa fille dans la for\u00eat sachant qu\u2019elle va s\u00fbrement rencontrer le loup? Et l\u00e0, cela devient int\u00e9ressant\u2026 D\u2019ailleurs, j\u2019ai eu plusieurs retours de spectateurs adultes qui me disaient: \u00abJ\u2019ai aim\u00e9 retrouver le monde des contes et l\u00e0, je les ai vus autrement que quand j\u2019\u00e9tais enfant. J\u2019ai remarqu\u00e9 qu\u2019on pouvait imaginer plein de choses en fait!\u00bb Du coup, je pense avoir r\u00e9ussi ma mission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Quels sont vos projets pour vos futures r\u00e9alisations th\u00e9\u00e2trales?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>J\u2019en ai plein pour cette ann\u00e9e et d\u00e9j\u00e0 aussi pour 2017. D\u2019abord avec la troupe des Toc\u2019Art de Lens, j\u2019ai mis en sc\u00e8ne une pi\u00e8ce qui s\u2019intitule\u00a0<em>Les macarons \u00e0 la neige<\/em>, une pi\u00e8ce de Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Crettaz, ce sera pour tout le mois de mai. Ensuite, dans la m\u00eame id\u00e9e, avec les jeunes de l\u2019Art Bacouni de Vex, une adaptation de <em>Deux Persans \u00e0 Paris<\/em> de Montesquieu, pour d\u00e9but juin. En septembre, je mettrai en sc\u00e8ne\u00a0<em>Cuisine et d\u00e9pendance<\/em>, une pi\u00e8ce de Pierre Dacri et Agn\u00e8s Jaoui, avec ma compagnie, la Compagnie Catharsis. Au mois d\u2019octobre, il y aura la prochaine pi\u00e8ce des Arlequins de St.-L\u00e9onard. Je mettrai en sc\u00e8ne\u00a0<em>Sexe et jalousie<\/em>, une com\u00e9die de Marc Camoletti, un ma\u00eetre en ce genre. En novembre, \u00e0 nouveau avec la Compagnie Catharsis, je mettrai en sc\u00e8ne et je jouerai une tr\u00e8s belle pi\u00e8ce qui s\u2019intitule <em>Pierre et fils<\/em>, une com\u00e9die touchante et dr\u00f4le, jou\u00e9e \u00e0 deux avec mon ami Patrick Goethier. Donc, mon agenda 2016 est bien charg\u00e9. Et pour l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 2017, j\u2019ai un tr\u00e8s gros projet, une grande production \u00e0 la Belle Usine de Fully. Il s\u2019agit\u00a0des <em>Liaisons dangereuses<\/em> de Choderlos de Laclos.
