Renaud Camus' 2011 book Le Grand Remplacement popularized the idea already present in certain circles - notably the white power movement in the USA - that white Western populations would soon be minoritized within their own borders. This idea, taken up by editorialist and now French presidential candidate Eric Zemmour, has made its way into current debates. Here, we take a brief look at the content of this book, a source of controversy that has now spread far beyond its borders.
