In 2015, Jean-Pierre Bacri starred in an adaptation of Jonathan Coe's best-selling novel The Very Private Life of Mr. Sim. The film follows the journey of a fifty-year-old social misfit across France. Monsieur Sim struggles to find meaning in his life, and comes face to face with his past. At first glance, the story may not seem the most exciting for a film, but in the guise of our famous French movie star, the magic happens.
