Ecology, what a vast topic! As vast as the earth, no doubt; a balance between man and nature that is essential to our survival. What does Aude Seigne have to say? Without taking care of our environment, the next glaciation will cover us sooner than expected, like the snow right now in front of Geneva's Café Gavroche, December 8, 2017.

Une toile large comme le monde is Aude Seigne's third novel, published by Zoé. In it, she tackles some of today's most burning issues: the cohabitation of new technologies and respect for the environment. We'd be lying if we said that this theme forms the heart of the book - though you'll have to judge for yourself when you read it.

The Geneva-based writer does, however, leave an important place for the «green cause», since Birgit, the central character, is an NGO leader who campaigns for the protection of the environment.
