Le Regard Libre N° 56 - Ivan Garcia

On Saturday, September 21, the Théâtre Benno Besson in Yverdon-Les-Bains hosted the first public performance of Les Deux Frères, directed by theater director Georges Grbic. His first creation since his appointment as head of the Yverdon-based institution, this staging combines pedagogy and scenography in a marvellous universe that leaves no spectator indifferent. A brilliant debut that heralds a radiant future for this theater as it ventures down the path of contemporary creation.

At the start of the new theater season, Les Deux Frères is the new mediation show for schools in the Yverdon area. The text, commissioned from Valais author Mali Van Valenberg, is based on a tale by the Brothers Grimm, the two great German philologists of the time.’
