Cinema Wednesdays - Kelly Lambiel
After Grbavica (Sarajevo, mon amour) in 2006, Na putu (Luna's choice) in 2010 and For Those Who Can Tell No Tales (The women of Visegrad) in 2013, Jasmila Žbanić explores a new and perhaps darker facet of the war in Bosnia-Herzegovina in Quo Vadis, Aida?. While his first films, which won numerous awards, evoked post-war trauma and the heavy legacy of the survivors, his latest film, nominated for an Oscar, takes place at the very heart of the massacre, in Srebrenica.
