Punctuated by excerpts from letters written by Einstein, the eponymous play honored the scientist and his creative madness on March 1 at the Théâtre du Crochetan. Directed by Stéphanie Boll, the show combined theater, dance and music. Impressions.

A faint light gradually appears on the stage. A short, leggy man strides hesitantly onto the stage. We recognize Einstein by the young actor's curly hair and moustache. He then begins to draw what looks like the curve of a function on the huge blackboard that sits among the scenery. Then, mathematical symbols as complex as they are mysterious, at an increasingly frantic pace, to the sound of music that won't stop.
