Dossier: Swiss neutrality put to the test by the war in Ukraine

Historical reality, political stakes... presentation of our major report devoted to neutrality in the current context, to be found in our paper edition (Le Regard Libre N°96) and right here.

Should we allow the re-export of weapons produced in Switzerland to countries at war, starting with Ukraine? Beyond this specific question, on which all Swiss parties are divided, the Federal Council does not offer a clear vision of neutrality. Let's go back to the historical basics to better define the debate - and, let's hope, move it forward. And, as a bonus, an article on the neutrality of the Holy See, to give an example of another approach to this concept.
