Cinema Wednesdays - Loris S. Musumeci
«What counts is being right; the truth doesn't matter.»
The suburbs of Paris, crossed by the metro. Neïla Salah (Camélia Jordana) is on her way to Place du Panthéon, Assas University, for her first day of law studies. However, her five-minute delay costs her the attention of Professor Pierre Mazard (Daniel Auteuil). In front of a stunned audience, the learned orator humiliates the young student with puns and remarks pointing directly at Neïla's Semitic face. As if that wasn't enough to get him into trouble, he follows up with a mocking critique of Islam. The hatred is signed. Pierre Mazard is summoned by the dean of the faculty. The only way to redeem himself: prepare the new year's prey for the prestigious eloquence contest.
