Cinema Wednesdays - Loris S. Musumeci
«Life is dumber than the movies, that's all.»
The rooftops of Paris change from day to night. And soon, shots of Jacques (Pierre Deladonchamps) and Arthur (Vincent Lacoste) respectively flash by. Accompanied by the bass and lyrics of Massive Attack's «One Love». Jacques is a writer. He lives in a bright Paris apartment with his son, whom he calls Loulou (Tristan Farge). His neighbor Mathieu (Denis Podalydès) is a close friend with whom he shares almost his entire life. Together, they look after little Loulou. Jacques is gay. So is Mathieu. But the two are too close to each other to be sexual partners; they're best friends.
