Cinema Wednesdays - Loris S. Musumeci
«- Are you a magician, like me?
- No, I'm not really a magician. I've always called it shining.»
The Shining returns. Danny Torrance thought he was safe from it. After the traumas of his childhood, he locked away his fears to lead a more or less normal life. And normal his life is. Even a little too normal. The man who, since childhood, has had the gift of the shining, imposing on him visions of a past that haunts him, of a future that worries him, still finds himself a little drunk in the early hours of the morning with a chick he's been riding all night, cocaine helping. Alcohol helping. The same alcohol that destroyed his father. Indulging in the same vice, he falls victim to the same possession. He's disturbed. By terrifying visions.
