An amateur video is addressed to actress Behnaz Jafari, in her own role. «Hello Madame Jafari, I'm Marziyeh», greets the young girl, who films herself in selfie. She then gravely announces that she is about to commit suicide because her family is preventing her from becoming an actress. The one who, it turns out, is The actress receives these images and panics. She feels responsible, even more so if Marziyeh really did kill herself. So she and director Jafar Panahi, also in his own role, set off to find out for themselves.
