Pierre Valentin is best known for dissecting the revolutionary nature of wokism in his first book, published last year by Gallimard. The 26-year-old essayist has since launched «Transmission», a YouTube channel to interest his generation in intellectuals.

This brilliant philosophy and political science graduate was the first Frenchman to offer a rigorous analysis of the new left-wing radicalism coming out of the universities - the woke movement - and the psychology of its followers. First in a double study published by the Fondation pour l'innovation politique, in 2021, then in an essay published in Gallimard's «Le débat» collection, Comprendre la révolution woke, in 2023. In July, Pierre Valentin launched his own intellectual conversation show, «Transmission», on the long format channel for young people: YouTube. Interview in a Parisian café.
