Director of Editions de L'Aire since 1978, Michel Moret is a leading publisher in French-speaking Switzerland. In recent years, his Vevey-based publishing house has embarked on a republication of the works of Charles Ferdinand Ramuz, in its L'Aire bleue paperback collection. Le Regard Libre asked him about this initiative. Let's follow in the footsteps of French-speaking literature and, in particular, of its main hero Ramuz, in the company of a publisher who has dedicated his life to books.

Le Regard Libre: Pour quelles raisons avez-vous décidé de rééditer l’œuvre de Charles Ferdinand Ramuz? 

Michel Moret: Lorsque j’ai relancé les Editions de L’Aire en 1978, nous fêtions le centenaire de Charles Ferdinand Ramuz. A l’époque, cela coïncidait avec ma découverte des œuvres de Ramuz et, comme il fallait bien commencer avec quelque chos
