Doing good is a talent that many claim to have. But when an umbrella organization with such a powerful presence in the world sports arena, criticized for its choices and misleading commitments, clumsily interferes in the diplomatic arena and assures us from top to bottom that its actions are apolitical, and does so again in the land of soft power, the scenario lends itself to a smile.
These contradictions, the result of haphazard communication by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), have been investigated by several bodies. Most often at the heart of the accusations is the validity of the organization of the FIFA World Cup.
