The publication of this Ségurant was a minor revolution in the world of letters! Touted as the missing novel of the Round Table, I didn't hesitate long before pulling this book out of the pile in bookshops, like Excalibur. Rightly or wrongly?
Emanuele Arioli, Ph.D. in medieval studies, has spent over ten years scouring libraries and archives across Europe to gather together fragments of the adventures of an illustrious Dragon Knight: Ségurant le Brun. Originally from the Isle of Non Sachante, and surpassing all the men of his time in bravery, Ségurant is an emblematic knight of Arthurian legend, on a par with Perceval, Lancelot and Gauvain. The difference is that, like his brothers-in-arms, he doesn't pursue the quest for the Grail, but an illusory dragon.
