The circular economy solution

Today, most companies need to sell as many of their products as possible to generate profits. In order to sell larger quantities, they then sell products with a limited lifespan, such as iPhones that stop working after a few years, or women's stockings that turn out to be made to tear quickly. Today's linear economy generates large quantities of waste, because of the incentives it creates to produce a great deal. Each Swiss citizen, in particular, produces over 700 kilos of waste per year. An alternative seems to be emerging: the circular economy.
