Former Formula E team, Venturi now aims for the Moon

It's been 50 years since NASA sent a vehicle to the Moon. In May, the space agency launched a call for candidates to build the rover that is to lunarize by 2028. Why wait half a century? Meet one of the favorite candidates.

When the village of Corminboeuf, in the valley of the Tiguelet stream a few kilometers from Fribourg, grew up in the 1970s, the very first rovers in history had just landed on the Moon. The period was marked by a mad race to space between the USA and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR). This culminated in NASA's first J-type lunar missions, i.e. longer, strictly scientific expeditions.
