Faced with the growing challenges of IT security, Fribourg's Green National Councillor Gerhard Andrey stresses the need for a proactive approach in Switzerland. In his view, the state and companies are still lagging far behind.

In 2023, cyber attacks against Switzerland and its lack of preparedness made headlines. For several years now, National Councillor Gerhard Andrey (Les Verts/FR), former party vice-president and candidate for government at the end of last year, has been advocating a better approach in this area. In an ever-changing digital world, he shares his thoughts on the importance of cybersecurity in preserving the sovereignty of the country, individuals and companies.
