«Alice and the Mayor: stimulating without being breathtaking

Alice is a young woman fresh out of her philosophy studies. Coming from a brilliant background, she dreams of a successful career. However, when she moves to Lyon for a professional opportunity and is told that her job has been abolished, the opposite happens. She is then assigned to one of those perfectly useless functions: giving ideas to the mayor, who no longer possesses a single one after thirty years in politics. Only superficially useless: Alice will stimulate the mayor's mind. But beyond what's necessary for Lyon's political equilibrium.

Bleu Calypso, a whodunit written and set in a cabin south of Montpellier, is a singular blend of delightful descriptions and twists and turns. Blending wild life and dynamic investigation, it follows Niels, a fisherman, as he plunges deep into the investigation of a series of murders. A little in spite of himself, and a little in spite of his character's lack of subtlety.

Mauskovic dance band: a disco-truc band, but what else?

The Mauskovic Dance Band is a group of five Dutch musicians. Led by Nicola Mauskovic, who defines his music as «a mix of disco, jazz and afro-beat played in a post-punk style», these «unschooled» musicians put on a wild show on the Détour stage on Wednesday, July 24. Beforehand, the drummer and composer, accompanied by a few beers, gave us some answers. Fragmented, just like their crazy music.
