Le Regard Libre N° 41 - Virginia Eufemi

In the restaurant of the Théâtre du Passage, we meet Halldóra Geirharðsdóttir, the lead actress in the Swiss premiere of the Icelandic film Woman at war. Interview with a woman full of life and energy, who takes on the role of another courageous woman who stops at nothing in her fight to save the planet.

Virginia Eufemi: What led you to take on the role of Halla in *Woman at War*?

Halldóra Geirharðsdóttir: Right away, when I read the script, I felt the energy and the Earth; I felt that this was a role written just for me.

Why? What did you like about it?

Halla is enthusiastic; she’s very ambitious, and she’s willing to make sacrifices and put her ego aside for a greater cause. I have five children.
