Being a man today, between virility and refinement

The question of gender has probably never been so popular. So has feminism. But where does the man stand in all this? Often in one of the two extremes of virility and refinement. Perhaps it would be better to think in terms of their subtle marriage.

Obsession with sexual identity is our thing these days. The letters «LGBT» alone don't even begin to cover half of it. Between men who feel like women, women who feel like men; men who assume their penis but not their male body, women who feel outwardly hybrid, and so on and so forth. These questions, the suffering of those who ask them, must be considered, but they quickly turn into nonsense. It's hard enough as it is to simply and fully feel like a man, or quite simply a woman.
