With her essay Féminicène, Véra Nikolski brings a breath of fresh air to a subject plagued by ideological opposition. The book focuses on the root cause of the favorable evolution in the status of women: the industrial revolution.
Le Regard Libre: According to you, we're living in the age of feminicene. How should we understand this concept?Véra Nikolski: It's a neologism I formed from the word «anthropocene», which designates the age of man with a capital H, in other words, of humanity. A period during which we have left our mark on the environment with a multiplied imprint.
