Seven years ago, George Lucas announced that Star Wars had been sold for four billion dollars to the Disney Empire. The public, remembering the mistreatment George Lucas had since dared to inflict on his invention (especially the various alterations made to the original trilogy, the Ewoks and Jar Jar Binks), naturally welcomed this transaction as the promise of a better day. In 2015, Episode VII The Force Awakens was well received; Episode VIII The Last Jedi was praised by the critics and hated by a good part of the public; while Episode IX Skywalker Ascension, released this winter, has this time put everyone in agreement as to the quality of this conclusion, extremely low quality if ever there was one. The time has come to review this post-logic, to unearth the principles that led to its success.
